Fabulous stage in the Critérium du Dauphiné

Indeed!!!

Awesome show of tactical riding from the GCs.
Nibali seemed to get dropped a bit too easy but may just be saving it for TdF
Contador looked the strongest I have seen him for years. Couldn't call it between him and Froome for TdF

Fabulous show of grit and will to win by Froome today though

No surprised, Wiggins won't ride the TDF.

he is in the nationals though

my cousin also features on that particular list!

What a fantastic Critérium du Dauphiné, the best stage race of the year so far.

Contador looked amazing! Do you think Froomes fall affected him or is he just not in as good a shape? The gap between them in the odds has closed rapidly!

Contador looks favourite for TdF imo.
Froome just didn't have it. Contador looks very good, last time he looked this good he was juiced!!

Hi Vic,

Froome crash certainly resulted in the loss of time in the final stage. He's got three weeks to recover ahead of the TDF.

No doubt Contador is the only rider at the same level as Froome.

Family & business stuff have mean't less cycling this year, but hope to have more free time during the TDF.

Like this Onboard Camera during the Tour De Suisse, Stage 5.

Have watched a lot of cycling past couple of weeks and I think Sky look the weakest it has since it started. The peleton have wised up to sky's high tempo up front and just let em burn themselves out.

Wiggins had an awesome team in 2012, Froome was super strong 2013 and a decent team but this year Froome isn't at his peak and only Porte looks strong enough. They are missing Rodgers imo

Of the others I have been impressed by TJ all year but he is held back at BMC with Cadel still seen as number 1

On the fat boys front it looks stronger then ever, so many top class sprinters now. I reckon there could be carnage in a few finishes this year

Hi Vegas,

Agree Sky have had problems this year, & other teams no longer follow. Saxo, Astana & Movistar will have incredibly strong teams for the Tour. Add in teams like Garmin & Katusha who can decimate the peleton with surprise tactics. Sky will be under pressure from week one.

Sky team likely to be Froome, Porte, Nieve, Henao, Thomas, Kiryienka, Siutsou, Kennaugh & EBH. No obvious road captain, & may regret not taking Bernie Eisel.

Interesting interview with Brailsford:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyNKfi_Ogl8

Think BMC will have TJ as leader, although I think he had a fractured hip & preparations have not been ideal.

Liking Talansky to break into the top 6. He seems to get stronger in the final week of a GT, & tactically is wiser than a year ago.

Lotto Belisol have confirmed their TDF selection. Adam Hansen rides his 9th consecutive Grand Tour. Incredible rider.
