Absolute class from Sagan. That pace up the Paterburg. Incredible.

Sunday - Paris - Roubaix.

http://www.oddschecker.com/cycling/one-day-classics/paris-roubaix/winner

Difficult to see anyone other the Sagan & Cancellara, certainly both are a level or so above anyone else. But this is Roubaix, crashes & mechanicals often play a part in the outcome of the race.

My sweats for tomorrow, basically its all Ettix for me. A dreadful spring classics for the team can be rescued tomorrow. They should be the only team with 4 or 5 attacking options in the later stages of the race. So some value had on betty, with Stybar & Terpstra at 23.00 (trade back later if necessary), both go better on the french cobbles & have impressive records. Finally a romantic ew bet on Boonen at 25/1 (4 places), I'm hoping he's saved his best for Sunday.

Good afternoon(morning) everyone(ton), apologies for a lack of a preview. A late night on the beer coupled with an agreement with my wife that I take the children swimming this morning in exchange for an afternoon of peace to watch the cycling has left me short on time.
I've also backed Terpstra as well as a rather large lumpy match bet single on Lars Boom to beat Kristoff. It was a pick em match and Kristoff sounds decidedly unconfident in the preview, he didn't pull up any trees last year even though he was dominating everything else and Boom was so strong in Flanders, had three mechanicals and still finished in a decent placing. As confident as possible with that one although any serious cycling fan knows it can all change in a heartbeat.

As for Boonen, I saw a programme with some highlights of past Roubaix's and I'd forgotten just how good he was. It's a shame he's had injuries and gone on too long and I've mentally diminished his quality. I'm glad that Canc is going out of the top of the sport if not quite the top of his abilities. No doubt in my mind these races are easier to win now as opposed to 10 years ago(everyone doped to the eyeballs most likely).
As for today I would love to see a renaissance from Tornado Tom but I don't see it happening. Legs are gone.

Really hoping he can turn the clock back to 2012, that year he flew, never seen anyone so fast on them cobbles.

Enjoy the race Tommy, hoping for a classic battle of the big guns.

Would love to see Sagan v Spartacus battling it out today for the best viewing spectacle

Financially I'm on Vanmarcke ew @ 9/1 (4 places) so if those 2 cuts each others throats and sep sneaked in with the win I'd be fine with that too :-)

Is it going to rain today? that always adds a bit more to the race imo

Slim chance of rain, reports some sections will still be slippery after rain yesterday.

Sep should certainly make the final selection, good luck Nell

Incredible start, 20+ break trying to survive, peloton splitting in crosswinds.
