http://www.oddschecker.com/cycling/tour-de-france/tour-de-france-stage-10/winner

Difficult stage to call, so many scenarios. 60/40 a break makes it. Late solo or small group attack over the Côte de Saint-Ferréol.

Some names that could feature, other than Sagan.

Alexey Lutsenko, I think he has a stage win in him. Good year, with a win at Paris-Nice. 66/1.

Orica certainly have this stage marked down. Normally you'd think Matthews, but Daryl Impey is perhaps a better bet @ 125/1, he was strong in a break earlier in the race. Seems to have been backed into 80s already though.

Tony Gallopin, loves these sorta stages, & sure to be stage hunting. Second in the French nationals, fast in a reduced bunch & also can attack solo. 20/1 not much to go on though.

What's your thoughts guys?

Sprint stage tomorrow. Chance of echelons if the wind blows. Bookies can't separate Cav & Kittel. Tempted by Kristoff @ 18/1, normally stronger as the race progresses.

with Quintana likely to lose some ground in the ITT straight afterwards, is ventoux on thursday quintana's realistic last chance to get a lead and win the thing?

i believe quintana attacked hard on it last year and its the last nasty climb, top of climb finish in this tour and its meant to really suit him?

Hi Tighty,

Ventoux could be wild this year, high winds forecast. Froome would expect have the beating of Quintana there, if you recall 2013, Froome sustained a higher cadence in final 2km to pull away. But don't write off the Colombian, he'll be close in the ITTs, the final week has four mountain stages, three of them summit finishes. Movistar are happy with the situation at the moment.

More of the same tomorrow, Ventoux finish altered to below the summit at Chalet Reynard.

No French wins yet, & Bastille Day tomorrow. Pinot, Voeckler, Vuillermoz, Alaphilippe, Bardet, or Barguil?

The labour party could do a better job.

What will they rule? Why don't they control the crowds?

Froome and Porte given same time as Mollema.   Probably about fair.

What will they rule? Why don't they control the crowds?

Ironically to protect rider safety the move of the finish lower down Ventoux created greater problems. There was probably nearly half a million spectators on the mountain, barriers are only in place for the last km.

Part of the problem I think is so many people can't watch anything without shoving a camera phone at it. All trying to record the action whilst missing it. Look at any event, sporting or otherwise, & the vast majority of the crowd are spending their time peering at & waving their fucking phones over their heads.
