Cracking last 30 today, some proper racing in there today no big trains with an obvious outcome. The cream certainly rose by the end

Yeah, proper racing. Sets up nicely for the cobbled classics.

Not a bet, but I suspect Dan Martin could go well in this, top 5.

The lads on form, at least in stage 1.

Tomorrow sees the start of the Flemish Cycle Week, with Dwars door Vlaanderen.

A 200km one day race, with sections cobbles & bergs (steep hills). Primarily a warm up for:

E3 Prijs Vlaanderen - Harelbeke, 22nd.

Gent - Wevelgem, 24th.

Ronde van Vlaanderen, 31st. The biggest of the cobbled classics after Paris - Roubaix, 7th April.

Sky in 2012 at DdV.

Many of the top riders have pulled out after Sundays tough race. Plenty of the teams have scheduled their 2nd string & younger riders.

OPQS Niki Terpstra should have a strong chance. Sky's Geraint Thomas was listed as leading the team, but I think has pulled out. Forecast is for heavy rain, so Stannard may give it a go after his heroics in MSR.

A couple of names that could be in the frame, Tom Veelers of Argos - Shimano, & Alexander Kristoff of Katusha.

What with all the one day classics & Catalunya going on. I forgot saturday has Critérium International in Corsica. Froome has been training there all week, & will probably start favourite.

Critérium International, famous for the horse joining the race incident in 1997

Hell of a great ride by Dan Martin. Will still need to scrap hard to stay in top 3.

E3 Prijs Vlaanderen - Harelbeke tomorrow.

Another Sagan & Cancellara battle you would of thought, but recent races have shown long odds riders nipping in for the win.

http://www.oddschecker.com/cycling/one-day-classics/e3-prijs-vlaanderen-harelbeke/winner

Not had any time to do any work in this, but a quick scan, aside favourites, Eisel, Iglinsky & Roelandts look to have some EW value.
