Why is Froome getting a hard time re drugs whereas Wiggins seemed to have it pretty easy?

Wiggins certainly got plenty of questions from the French press last year. I think until yesterday's froomes complete dominance led to suspicions. Interesting sky have released some of froomes number ( power output etc) to l'equipe and they have basically apologised and said they are all within reasonable bounds. If I am honest I would not bet any money on him (or the rest of peloton) being truly clean, but I hold that view about all top sportspeople.

Wiggins pretty much told to the media to fk off, whereas Froome is less abrasive. Despite cycling well documented doping problems, the sport has the highest testing, in & out of competition, add in rider blood passports & the cheats do get caught. It's laughable how higher profile sports do so little in drug testing. One day Tennis & Football will have to go through the same media scrutiny that cycling has & is going through re doping.

Froome cant even be laid on betfair for todaysstage, back is 38.0. Was yesterday a blip or does he look like he's running out of steam?
Freds paying top 4 today on EW bets if anyone is having a punt. Nieve looks best priuced there @ 12/1
Hi Vic I think yesterday was just a blip. Not eating properly on the stage can just suddenly empty the tank. But generally no lasting effects for the next day. Not looked properly at the betting. Nieve is now going for the KOM, so will certainly be in the mix. Properly a day to hold fire a touch & monitor the in play betting. Early in the stage but Nieve trading as favourite @ 7/1 The 30 rider counter attack group has some good candidates for the win, Nieve, but also Navarro, Bardet & 3/4 others.

A short stage before Paris, but plenty of uphill riding, finishing with a steep climb to torment at the end. Froome shouldn't have any problems, he'll likely just follow the battle for podium places. Unusually for Contador he'll have to ride to defend second. Purito & Katusha are likely to be the most active, currently 5th, 47 secs behind Contador. KOM the mountains battle will get settled. Personally I need Froome to win that for a healthy profit, or Quintana to cover my bets & a smaller profit. Also I'll be funking for Talansky to make top ten overall.

Didn't expect Sky to drill it at the bottom of the climb.
