For me it's not so much other players or players mistakes that tilt me, I can live with those because we all want to play against sub standard players, it's the mistakes I which I make that do it. The last 2 iancredible 100's I've played I've spunked away 3 x average chip stacks in 2 hands because I'd made a bad call when I knew I shouldn't have. It's like I'm trying to punish myself for the error. I need to change my attitude.

Cue Barry.

Same for me - Although getting muffed is obv fustrating, after I've done the usual "FFS" 'Massive sigh' etc it doesn't bother me at all or put me on tilt - Only thing that puts me on tilt is me!!

I tilt the wrong way most of the time. Instead of peeling when I shouldn't and mashing chips in for no reason, I tend to fold hands I should open and this normally results in additional frustration when my tilted results-oriented brain kicks in. Eventually I just become a silent, hunched over teenager in a hoody making sure all my chips are the same way up and going over that brutal river/bad flop peel/poorly-timed cold 5 in my head.

Also I try even harder to look at the game objectively when I'm on tilt, which means I don't allow for momentum and confidence even when I do start winning pots. This is not so bad online of course, but in live poker everyone fears "the rush."

I try to file away hands that I could have played differently or bad beats into a mental filing cabinet. All credit to Honeybadger for that technique. The second that cabinet gets full and I have to leave the file "sofuckinglucky.txt" on the mental desk where I can see it and can't resist peeking at it, that's the moment I'm supposed to pick up and run for the cash desk. At Gala, I always seem to reach that moment when the shutters on the bank are down for a few minutes, and this is plenty of time for me to go broke!

I tend to look as the person before me is about to act that way most the people are concentrating on him if I do have any tells they may get through!

What slows the game down is people thinking for too long which tilts me bad!!
