I expect Jake plays the winner.

That or his is watching Miyagi style over his races protégé (did I do the accents correctly, Monsieur G?)

This was on the blog just before "the hand":

20:26 Gascoigne shows no fear

Ian Gascoigne may be the oldest competitor in the field but anyone clinging to the notion that this might suggest Gascoigne is tight and without moves in his locker – forget it.

The field looks to be wilting in energy a little, but Gascoigne is full of zip

The preface to the Ralph Perry hand was this little gem:

Some plays just seem to defy logic and are all about heart, guts and determination. Gascoigne showed that in spades moments ago.

So good.

Although the stream has been down for about an hour now (occasionally looping to logos or the beginning of the day's play) which is a tad frustrating.

Have asked Alex if he can mention to them that their viewing public is increasingly upset. Did tell him to be careful not to use the phrase, "The people are revolting", as I was worried that, in his accent, the intent might be misconstrued.
