Father - 22k and battling with someone on the phone about something or another.
Me - 57k and battling (in position, thank God) with a Jack Salter who appears to have eaten raw chillies for breakfast. Another level aggro!!

Sorry about the radio silence. Played like a donk ( usual) for the first 3 levels and found myself down to 6k. Fortunately there was a break and then the table broke. Waited a few orbits and the button pushes for 5k and I wake up with pocket tens. A three way all in , nines tens and jacks. Hello there ten on the turn. Huge boost to chip stack followed by a few other hands and I am now above average with two levels to go.
Feeling good and will again shortly. Will also let you know about a misfire raise that gets through to win a decent pot.

Feels quite appropriate that we have retired to the flat and are now watching Jack Nicholson in 'One flew over the cuckoo's nest'. Trying to explain to Edward that I last watched this movie about 37 years ago. It's a remarkable movie. If you have never seen it you must. Nicholson is awesome.
