Have faded the 330Eur Dublin Cup in favour of getting absolutely tanked on Guinness as just know my heart wouldn't be in it after another 'blow'.
Last comp I played was Southend GPS in August (?) where I chipped up without a single hand before opening the button with 83o into passive blinds, picking up two callers, betting Qxx, two callers, betting the turn, shake the guy who has the queen, and jamming the river against a satellite entry knowing he's weak and thinking he'd fold. "I know I'm beat, but I call". 8hi Sir. 99.

When you make a move and it gets through your a genius, when it fails your an idiot. This is an extremely flawed thought process.
I'll let the boss man himself give his thoughts:

Obviously when I dont cash, I lose more money than anyone else in the "coup". Thing is Id post hands if i thought anyone would want to see them etc- but whats the point? I post a hand showing i 6bet shove A5ss in what was a really simple spot. When he folds its standard, when he calls im spewing. Poker can make you look a genius or very stupid in the exact same spots, posting hands and trip reports is pretty easy to manipulate into appearing unlucky etc
My day 1 from the 1k the other night was an actual work of art, it should be printed, framed and admired. Like a work of art its value will only be discovered way after its creator has perished. Unfortunately the same said artist has been known to produce some horrific pieces of work, whilst last nights wasnt quite my Sistine Chapel, it definitely wasnt my Mona Lisa.
One of my fav posts.

I knew putting my faith in someone who attended one of the modern "colleges" was an error. Red brick job, Emmanuel, wasn't it? Yobbo.
It's Oscars time and seems only right to give Ed the
Best Supporting Gascoigne
award.
Continue to have a blast, fellas.
