Rading a few of the posts got me thinking - why are four coloured cards not used in live play...

I think it's probably tradition more than anything else?  There are good reasons to have 4-colour decks (imo), for example, it would make it easier to see the suits of the cards for some people from the far end of the table.  I don't understand why a lot of places use cards with a very small font for the numbers/letters in the corners and really noticed the difference when I got back from Vegas and went back to DTD. The numbers and letters on the cards were enormous in comparison, and much easier to read.

That's pretty universal, DTD use huge font, most of the other casinos have a standard size..

Is that a tradition thing, or is there another reason for it?  For example, do they intentionally use the cards with a smaller index to stop other players from accidentally seeing your cards when you peak at them?

I love the cards at Dtd and love the fact all the tables are re clothed black. Purples and reds looked nice but I had problems with the red tables as when I squeezed any hearts or diamonds they looked black. I don't know anyone else with this problem but it baked my head that red cards looked black.

Iv always loved stapes on the big game/EPT, but he spent an hour slagging EVERYONE off. Had it not been for the table banter, I would honestly have turned it off lol.

Apart from that, I really enjoyed it

Thanks Alex.

Personally, I thought it the best of those shown to date.

- Because you're nervous
- Because you like chewing gum
- Because you want to look like Razor Ramon (toothpick optional)
