Think Horner has the same bet somewhere.
haha indeed, but mine is only just over 7 years old. Just sits in my current bets on betfair for ever and ever.

At least in his current role as Technical Director of Al Nasr SC, he looks well and truly primed for one of the biggest managerial jobs in football.

A happier ending than the guy who left a chunk hidden under the plastic bag in a waste-paper basket in a Vegas hotel for safety and forgot to retrieve it before checking out..

This bet still has some of it's milk teeth, just a baby.

That sounds like a Mad Marty yarn. Except for the £20k.
Nope not Marty, or Devilfish for that matter.
I would say at 50% chance the story is true.
Maybe embellished slightly (put there earlier the same week and forgotten about seems most likely fib).
Still a good story.

I have a 100% true story not quite 20k though, go to Belgium with Scotland, obviously do Amsterdam first (as you do), a friend (actual friend not me!) leaves his solid silver antique kilt belt (worth about £1,000 I think) in a window, head off to Belgium, watch Scotland get humped, head back to Amsterdam for 2 days to fly back home, and as we are walking down the street a girl (of the night) comes running out of a window in her underwear shouting "Mr Scotsman, Mr Scotsman" and hands my mate his belt back! literally would not have believed it if I had not see it with my own eyes!

Was trying to find my £50 on Michael Owen to play for England again, put on the day he was first dropped by Fabio in 2009 or something, and while trying to get my Ladbrokes history (can only go back to start of last year unless I'm doing it wrong) I've somehow got £33ew on Champion Court for the Ryanair at Cheltenham. Is this a good bet Keef? No idea who told me to do this, Channing maybe?

Got a chance, loves Cheltenham, jumps great and is honest and tough.
But it's looking like a really hot race this year with lots of horse who would normally run in the Champion being scared of Sprinter Sacre and going for this.
What price did you get?

Yeah, he had realised before we left the first time! He had already reported the sad news home to family, pretty sure he didn't explain how he managed to come about getting it back to them lol

To be delicately (unlike Mr Herron), he surely knew where he'd left it?
And why would you take a £1,000 belt on a lads week away in Amsterdam and Brussels?
