Really enjoyed playing this and not bitter at all that after 3 and a half hours lost to a 3 outer haha

Only thing that seems to be missing is a time bank. I know online is much faster than live etc etc but only having 15 seconds to make a decision for your tournament life in a £300 comp is really tough.

Apart from that DTD have got it spot on again Smiley

It just kicks in automatically if you go over your 15 seconds, or whatever.

nope, it just auto sits you out.

I tried everything I could think of yesterday whilst playing, and no joy. A quick google search revealed ipoker introduced timebanks in 2011 I think so tis pretty annoying.

Don't think this is true

I'm not sure you can activate your timebank. It kicks in automatically if (1) you have chips in the pot already and you go past the given 10-15 seconds before acting (2) If the tournament has been set up to have timebanks

This is baffling me, I'm sure I saw the timebank being used in the satellite the other night, but in the online 1a never saw it once...

Did have a little giggle at IsItFrankie asking about it every minute tho.

It is there, but you don't have a choice to activate it or not, it just kicks in automatically after xxx time.

Yep, and then when it's expired, it doesn't kick-in (obviously).

Personally I think the move over to Ipoker is great, the software is infinitely better, and the ability to win "tokens" from feeders make it possible to win a feeder on weds and play the target satellite on the Thursday.  The token system also means you can register yourself into the day1 of your choice, which is a whole lot easier than the previous email the morning after system.

Once you figure out the best way to check the "actual" progress of a tournament is to use the "Chatbox>Stats>More" feature and just to ignore completely what the lobby says, then satellites are exactly the same as the old boss ones but with better software.

I would however recommend that for future tournaments the chatbox gets turned off when the field nears the bubble.  We had a guy on our table telling everyone "to fold their way to seat and not play against each other" - FFS mate, we are all aware of the ICM implications on the bubble of a satellite!  It just felt a bit "cheaty" having people trying to make our table a "team" against the other players.

Overall though, big thumbs up on the move over, Ill certainly play more on this Skin and not just "satellites for live events" as I did on the Boss client.
