some of the play was definitely crazy when top 200 was the aim...I just wish some would realise during hand for hand time banking is pointless.

no its not ?
blinds still go up ?

OUCH Smiley

How many were you expecting for this first one? I'd guess this wasn't too far off realistic expectations?

Is it possible to do a 7.30pm feeder sat that directly enters in to the 8.30pm similar to the 200 seat guarantee they have on stars in to the million?

With such great value in the feeder it's only fair to expect people to join in the 8.30pm.

Good luck with the next one and the rest of the tournament. Pretty sure it'll improve as word spreads and as the day 1s get closer.

Expected 750 + for first one, but its hard to predict as we have never done sat's this big before i.e. not sure how many players you can get in 1 sat. There were 200 €33 tokens not used that were won this week plus more tokens were used for the €30 Mon - Sat ones, so it's clear where the shortfall from my 750 was. I like the flexibility of the new token system but it costs you on GTE's at least in the short term. Still, 488 in a sat is a big number, looks like the GTE was a little too ambitious first time out but I feel we will do better going forward as the event gets closer. Saying that, our USP is to give value to poker players so we did not disappoint - we could have easily have spend €30k on some TV advert last week and thought nothing of it. Let's see what happens next week, we have to remain positive, unique web site hits have doubled to over 10,000 over April, there is loads more advertising and PR planned over the run up. awareness will only increase. 488 is respectable as a number for any satellite but clearly short of expectations and I am disappointed, if all the tokens won this week had been used for this sat, we would not have been far off.

Oops out 245th ran into Aces at wrong time:)...good value though, be back next week for more

I was on your table - you were SB and BB had AA?

Never had a "fold to seat" stack so was inevitable I'd have to have a race. It was my first allin called all tourney but missed Sad

Did you get a seat?

Yes but eliminations are done on stack sizes not timings (if more than one table loses players in the hand) and surely the small stacks want to hit the blinds before they go up

Unless its the big stacks time banking but I don't normally see this

Probably just me wanting to get to sleep for an early start next day

Rob, is it an Ipoker thing about not being able to rebuy if you have 1 more chip than your starting stack? I know I would have but I had a small pot go my way and only took the Add on. Might help towards overlay?

i think is was a success given the fact it was the first, more will come as they say Smiley going on other satellites prior to this, players do leave it late Smiley i had a few crazy players on my table getting involved with 80-90k stack not content with what they have and one guy simply lost it all Sad madness

i think the next one will get 650 runners approx and with enough tokens won players will transfer for rebuy and add-on given they know they cann ( this was a great idea btw ). quite a few players i spoke to on the tables did not know they could transfer tokens for points then rebuy/add on, so i was explaining where possible:) . next one will get more runners for sure

I'm sure if you click re-buy straight way iPoker adds the chips, then you also get any chips you win on the first hand added on top.

Yep, I got it the sleazy way (timebanking ftw with 35 players to go). Seemed to be a good strategy but had to shove over some min-raise opens with premiums - made sure I showed each time. There were some large stacks on other tables looking to take people out.

A new week, and more opportunities to get those ISPT Day One seats as I know many blondes did last night

First, the freerolls

As follows

TONIGHT 8pm TWITTER FREEROLL 10x Day 1 €300 seats for the winners

To be eligible

 Click to see full-size image.

Tues 8pm SMALL VENUES FREEROLL 100 x €33 seats to the winners

WHO CAN PLAY THE FREEROLL?
Any player that belongs to a small poker venue, pub, social club or regular poker night can enter. If your poker night is at a casino or a dedicated poker cardroom, unfortunately you will not qualify.

HOW TO REGISTER YOUR VENUE?
Simply enter the details of your poker night on the facebook page. Once your registration is confirmed by Alex Ottewell, any player affiliated to your poker night will qualify.

Thurs 8pm DTD POKER LEAGUE FREEROLL 100 x €33 seats to the winners

Feeders

* 7.30pm Daily €3 Mega Feeder, 50 x €33 seats GTD

* Hourly €2 feeders, 1 x €33 seat GTD

* 8.30pm Daily €30 freezeout, 5 x €300 Day 1 ISPT seats GTD

* 9.30pm Daily €10 Cheap Seat Freezeout  1 x €300 Day 1 ISPT seat GTD

All of these are tremendous value, were over-laying last week and in the case of the 7.30pm €3, feed into the Sunday Megas, last night's overlaid by a huge €30,000

Winning multiple tokens, and eventually multiple Day One ISPT seats is akin to the new poker gold-rush. If only more people realised.

Everything is summarised on:
