After about the worst two weeks possible I have a week off as my girlfriend and family are coming to visit. I need this break to be honest as I'm feeling frustrated outside of poker in the day. I may slip in a few sessions but they will probably be 3-4 hour ones and will mostly consist of sng's. I think it's a really good idea my sessions are 80% sng's for a short while as I don't really feel like riding the variance train for a while if you get what I mean.

Hi everyone,

I'm back after a much needed break. I'm going to be putting in a bit of my volume into 180's early on to build up some of the roll and make sure I'm playing good. Unfortunately I've grown a bit of a sty on the old eye lid and I'm not sure how it's going to affect my playing hours as it's making my eyes very sore. I expect a few hours tonight and if all goes well I will play 10 hours or so tomorrow.

Medium sized sesh of mainly 180's this afternoon. Had a deep run in a couple of $11r's which could have been fun. Won another $3.50/180 obv.

This was the bust out, pretty frustrating few weeks I must say but at least I had a winning day.

I'm just railing this thread as I missed out on the buy. That bust/general luck has been f brutal.

I am very good at not moaning when things aren't going my way as it does no good at all. In fact people just get annoyed with moaners. I think a lot of people would have gone berserk if they had to endure what I have had to put up with so far. Of course the only way is up but so far my final table distribution has all been 5th's and 6th's with most of the occasions just being joke bust outs.

Considering my average buyin is $30-40 it is pretty insane to go on a $7.5k downswing if I am playing as profitably as I think I am. It's deffo the worst downswing in terms of buyins I've had to endure and I hate to imagine what would happen if it happens again in the not too distance future. I'm pretty sure I will lose investors if I have to ask for another reload and I can't live off no money for months and months.

Anyway, I had to get that off my chest as today was the first decent winning day since I started this staking thread and it could have easily been a +$4k day.

Played a morning session albeit a small one (7:15am-11:15am). Managed an 11th in the 109 turbo which was exciting as 3.5k up top. Cashed loads of other stuff considering I didn't play too many tourneys then won a SCOOP ME ticket ($1050) for only $24! Going to take a shot with that ticket.

Obviously took the tourney dollars .

Going to take a Sunday session on. Won't be taking too many shots as the fields are just so grossly big. Will probably flick one $200 buyin in, maybe play the warmup.

Also sent $75 across to FTP to play the mini FTOPS ME as you get a $26 ticket for the SCOOP. Seemed silly not to I guess.

Got up for an early grind to find out they are resetting the servers at 1pm which means a crappy schedule. Grrrr.

Sorry for the lack of updates, just been a bit lazy with that. On Sunday I had a couple of deep runs but that meant coming 300th instead of 3rd and I had a bad sesh. Yesterday was decent although I think it turned out to be even on the day.
