We'll get you pictures of all your favourites shortly - but first - you know the drill - it's off to make notes on the players we don't know so well so we can follow their progress.

I spotted Marcel Luske signing in for the tournament about five minutes before it started, and Joe Hachem being interviewed repeatedly (yesterday).  I also feel obliged to mention Luca Pagano's shoes in honour of the absent Tikay...

Aloha Ms Mason, apparently I have to download a new MSN again, I have no idea why, but I'll be on there for a little while very shortly if you're not too busy with counting chips and whatnot.

Toodle pip,

Dana.

As a Crystal Palace fan (yes I know Sad) I would love to be there to have a "chat" with Tomas Brolin, if that is who we think it is!  Angry

I can confirm that seated on El Blondie's table is former Swedish International Thomas Brolin.

More worringly, there is no sign of Dave yet. Either he's slept in or he's intends to be fashionably late.

I believe that the first elimination was that of Tobias Anderson in seat 1, table 14.

Not sure how he managed it though with blinds at 25/50 and a 10k starting stack.

Morning danafish - always a pleasure!

I have early news too - Ram Vaswani is already up to 18,000, at the expense of James Vogl - Ram limped in early position, James raised with AQ, Ram smooth called. The flop came: Q 3 7, two diamonds one spade.  Ram checks, James bets the pot (c. 400), call.  Turn:  .  Ram checks, James bets 1,000 - gets raised to 3,000....James eventually calls.
River:

Then Ram bet 4k and received a call - showing  !  That, I believe, is a gutshot...

However James, down to 1,500 doubled up soon thereafter in one of those limping with Aces pots - Aggressive Scandie with AJ decided to take him on for the lot and doubles him back up.

Stop talking in riddles and get on with it

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Ah, Hachem... he's on the feature table at the moment (the cameras are rolling) so we'll have to wait for that pic until they rotate him off of there.
