A bit of news for you, Dubai.

Table 9.

Frej Rutenskold raises to 400 preflop.

Roland de Wolfe moves all-in for 4.575k

Rutenskold calls and turns over  .

De Wolfe flips .

Flop =

The dealer turns the cards in slow-motion.

Turn -

Another slow turn-over. De Wolfe bends down to catch first sight of the card.

River = three clubs

De Wolfe doubles through and now has 10.275k

Helppi comments that De Wolfe always wins the coin flips.

This is about the best shot I could get of the feature table including Guest Announcer Ron MadYank Fanelli who I think somehow spotted me in the crowd taking this picture... Hachem has his back to the cardroom so no good photo of him yet.  But there will be.

Here we have Henrik Olander, 2nd place finisher in the Dublin EPT, and Smokin' Steve Vladar, other half of yesterday's final chip leader, Bad Girl.

I think Vladar's bluffing. I can see it in his eyes.

This is our new view from nice comfy hotel no.2.  It has about 100 floors and despite being the largest hotel in Denmark managed to be full when we arrived.  Now it's packed with poker players, but they tend to stay in the card room until it chucks them out; sit'n'gos are already kicking off in the corner.

This is Rolf Woods. He's the captain of The Norsemen and is far more used to being an avid PRO member. This time, however, he's taken the plunge and bought a seat.

I don't know many people called Rolf. Hmm...

I'm back! Only slightly traumatised. Messenger wants me to download it anew, again. I think I may have broken it. I'm trying though...

There was a bit of a kafuffle earlier and I was able to witness Thomas Kremser in action.

Farzad Heyati threw in a chip and either declared 'raise' as it was in flight or after it had landed.

Marcel Luske was on the big blind and was claiming that the action should be a flat call.

Big K was briskly brought in to action and, after a dead-end discussion, decided to force the young guy into just calling.

Luske was adament, whilst the young Heyati was rather more hesitant, which probably worked against him.

We're just about to start our big chip counting spree, so bear with us for a few minutes (also been declined food by the bar so had to go get a club sandwich).  Only one table down so far, so we should still be pretty accurate...

Errrr not the best day of my life.
My flight was delayed an hour, then another hour, and then another. When we boarded we weren't allowed a slot, and when we landed they werent ready for us.
So eventually I arrived 1hr 45 mins late. But I wasn't phased. i was an hour late on day 2 when I won £100,000 at the Vic and I recall a certain scandanavian arriving 5 hours late for the Baden EPT and coming back to win it.

So I sit there and pass for half an hour, and then call a raise from my SB with  . The flop comes two spades and I check raise my opponent who passes. So I am now back to 10,500
the very next hand I pick up Queens on the button. Luca makes it 500 and he gets a caller, so I decide to over raise and make it 3000. I'm hoping one of them think I'm at it (as I have just made a move the previous hand).
Unfortunately Luca thinks for a minute with his KK and moves all-in. I had set myself up for this, so felt I had to call. No getting lucky exit stage right after about 40 mins play
