been kinda tilted about this hand.

€10/€25 PLO at monte carlo.

Raise from EP to €100 I call with  (suits dont matter here much except i dont have ANY clubs)
Call from very loose Belgium guy, you literally need a chainsaw to get him out of pots in early streets - very splashy but not been massively spewy/aggro but he was winning a lot and lost it all back so is defo starting to tilt a bit
Call from someone else, he doesn't matter - but we'll call him Roland.

Flop (€410)

Check, I bet €250 our Belgium competitor calls and everyone else (including Roland) folds.

Turn (€910)

I bet €500, he is playing €2,000 almost exactly and pretty quickly raises to €1,000.

my hand is obviously really sick, but ... Everything that shines isn't always made of gold?

I really don't know what he reps all that well.

I'm just getting it in and geee elllll to him if he has four of the same type and flopped it.

edit: i mean, in the end this is about 80bb total so not sure how we can not just get the lot in here.

If he's playing loose, he could have a house here, or a straight flush draw now hit a straight also with an 8 in his hand.

It's not impossible for the Villain to have    (or similar hands) in which case you'd be drawing to a chop or another over in his hand.  I'd fold and wait for a better spot.

Saying that considering the size of the pot I'd be conflicted..

Don't see why he wouldn't flat and hope you pot the river given stack sizes...

I think I just stick it in here because of his stack-size.

we only have 5 outs vs 85 and 86, and 6 outs vs 66, we do beat A8** though but he's likely to have at least 6 live house outs against us.

Also how differently do we feel about the hand when he raises to 1k and doesn't shove? the pot will take an All-In from him.

tbh it's troubling me.

it definitely means *something* but I just don't know what.

I'm gonna get the liveradar out and (probably) do a call cause we got a super strong hand and it's hard for him to have us super dominated/freerolling but live radar is gonna be important here.

Feels like him raising here rather than raising flop or jamming now takes out a lot of his 8xxx (with 3 overs and/or with a FD). Feels like the worst he'll show up with here is 987x or 97xx with a FD. A reasonably high amount of the time he'll have a boat and have us drawing very thin. Seems like a fold, but i'm not in love with it... just less in love with putting it in.

Always feel lost in hands like this, end up shrugging my shoulders and jamming and I somehow usually end up losing

More troubling why are people short stacking PLO games in Monte Carlo, is nowhere immune from the global financial crisis?
