There's another horse I'm interested in tomorrow.

Lady Yeates in the last.

Zoomed to the top of my horses to follow list with a wildly impressive win at Redcar, when she was so unfit she had a bigger belly than me.

Somewhat surprised Moore is running her at a speed track like Chester as she looks like she will improve the further she goes.

Going to throw away tuppence happenny on her at 8/1, but she is definitely one to watch tomorrow and in coming weeks. I think she could improve a stone on her current mark.
Lady Yeats runs tonight in 6.30 Beverley 4-1 at present

Finally stepped up to 2m today.

Softish ground ideal.

Great each way race.

wp, very likeable one to follow, not often you see that price for a horse called yeats over 2m

Bit cheeky from mccoy in last at huntington, looks a decent one for hurdling with that cruising speed (el namoose)

Had a little bit on at 9/1, but wanted to make sure all 16 started before having my proper bet. Unfortunately the price went.

Still thought 11/2 was ok (was trading 6.6-6.8 on the machine for the win), so had £200 each way in a Baldfred shop in Chinatown.

Walked away from the counter to find a seat to watch the race.

A minute later the woman behind the counter shouts out "Oi love, come over here a second"

"Give us your slip from that bet you did a minute ago"

I passed it over.

She cancelled it and re-priced it at 6/1 and put it through again.

In 30+ years of going to a betting shop that has never happened to me before.

Baldie might have to go and have a lay down if he knew this was happening in one of his shops.

I'd have been worried passing the slip back over, 'traders just called, cancel bet' would have been first thought

FFS missed this!

Well done Keith, and all who got on.

To round the day off nicely, I had Rockawango in my tracker as well...

One for today, Anglo Irish, 410pm at Lingfield. Only 4/1, but proven on the track and distance. Up slighlty in the weights, but its last 2 wins have thrown up numerous winners that finished behind it. Expect this to win today is the word from the stable even though its gone up a grade. Wont be 4/1 on the off, already been good money for it this morning. Didnt get a chance to post earlier when i got the message due to work meetings. 4pts win is the recomended bet!

2.10 Brighton Birdie Queen  10/1  I've been on the lookout for Hector crouch's rides at Brighton where he seems to do very well with a 7lb claim, though maybe just a blip based on a small sample.  (possible theory: association with Moore family getting good pointers on how to ride there ??)  I've been more or less backing his rides here blind where they appear to have any sort of a chance - Birdie Queen is a course and distance winner with a piece of soft ground form, though unproven on heavy ground. At this price I'm happy to have a small e/w bet and hope there's not too many more non-runners.

Fujin is back out again in the last at Brighton, after backing it on debut for Harris last time at 16/1 i am quite happy to let it win at around 3/1 today

Regrettably Totesport and Racing Post will not run Ten To Follow for the 2014-15 jumps season. The decision follows a fall in entry levels.

....and the winner must have been 100/1" in running" after the first furlong!
