Nice work atd.
Totally missed, as I was travelling but top work.WP.
a snippet for those who have been waiting for Moon Racer, the Champion Bumper winner, to resurface. Apparently the "slight setback" Pipe mentioned in November was actually a broken pelvis!
Probably not going to be seen this season, if again at all.
Not all well at the Pipes, I gather!!

Shame to hear that, looked to have huge potential.

Great to see Hereford is reopening.
Scene of my first ever bet of £500 many moons ago watching a horse called Rowlandsons Jewels clip almost every fence and then have to be driven out to win a small field race at Evens.
A horrible seven or so minutes at the time, but the place retains a fondness for me as a result.
Nice to see some good news for a change.

At first glance the Taunton 2.45 would look like a race to avoid, but i dont think all is as is seems.
the fav Johns Luck was 2nd last time but only 4 finished and trainer not in best of form.
Whats Lark also finished 2nd but was 66/1 and the 2 joint favs didnt finish and looked a flukey result.
Eaton rock 'won' a 4 runner race as the winner was disq then ran tame race after.
Rebel benifit won couple small Irish points but not shown much here.
Brendon hill lad won a few low grade hurdle races and a chase off 95 but wasnt much of race and well beat since.
Mount prospex hadnt shown anything until last run , which wasnt too bad, hurdle race tho. p/u only chase start.
Garde Fou bolted up in first hurdle win, but went up in weights and down in finishing, first chase and got 11-12.
Badger wood is interesting , and had 2 decent hurdle runs at track.not sure about the distance for him tho.
tikkapack, some finish ,trehan cross and residence and spa i just couldnt have.
This leaves us SOMERSET LIAS, local trainer , not many horses but they have been running ok.
ran in some ok hurdle races without winning, seems to be a better chaser and had a couple of decent runs.
will deff like the trip, and has first time cheekpieces.
Off of this mark in this race which isnt that strong looks worth a little go at 13/2
I have done it E/W , but its prob not a great e/w value race.would be disapointed if its not in the farme, good luck.

Had a go at this on your recommendation. Shortening already is a good sign. Good luck pal.

Coral already looking at £2m pay-out on opening-day Mullins four-fold, according to rep on ATR
seems high for this stage, even allowing for PR spin, doesnt it?

Probably a few on at much bigger prices than they are now, but they love to lay it on thick, so I'd say you're most likely right.

I know he didn't beat much but what a spectacular round of jumping from Douvan.
As good as I can remember from a novice 'chaser.

Think Ricci Rich said yesterday that Douvan is the best horse he has ever owned.

14/1 with Spoyles, straight after the race.
Scary thing is, he's likely to improve for the run, too.
That day 1 acca is now best priced 10/1!
Hope I'm not feeling as sick as I did last year :/
