Anyone keen on anything in the Cambridgeshire today?

I had a couple of ew dabbles earlier in the week on Majestic Dawn and Jazeel both booosted @18/1 but only got 1/4 1-4.

I surprisingly got paid the place money(5th and 7th) after they went 1/5 1-7 on the day of the race.

I'd assumed I was tied to the place odds when I placed the bet - bank error in my favour?

https://www.racingpost.com/news/latest/towcester-set-for-closure-as-course-sells-fixtures-to-arena-racing-company/402223

Sad news if confirmed and true.   First track i ever went to years ago.   Not sure what it means for the dogs because the Henlow dog track owner was interested in leasing it for the dogs from next year.   Very difficult to operate a small track like that horse wise with 11 fixtures a year and cover the fixed costs.

Casanova and Qaysar in the next.   Good e/w race

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Never a bad plan. Almost always works out best for me when I'm away.

Pfft. You know those Saturday beer-drinking punters who think Listed races are handicaps but back the winner anyway?

Probably spilt his pint of 8% Old Cock down his denim jacket while riding a finish too.
