So, I thought long and hard before putting this thread up.
I pretty much always sell at 1.2ish and I'm happy with that but as has been discussed all over the place the WSOP Main Event is unique.
I toyed with running an auction, but I'm not a huge fan of those and really I don't want to sell at less than 1.5 - I'd rather dig up the money somehow myself.
The standard of play is way below the level of a normal $10k event.
The year I went deep I didn't face a good player with position on me until late on day 5.
I would have been value that year at 3.0 - although to balance that, the year afterwards I had a very very difficult opening table and wouldn't have been good value at 1.0.
In years gone past when when my financial position was somewhat more healthy I have sold for this tournament at 2.0, and wouldn't have sold at any lower. I normally would rather swap.
Experience:
Played the main event around 12 times, only cashed once - 75th 2007

Have plenty of experience of playing multi day big tournaments with huge prize pools going deep in the 2009 WSOPE (11th), 2003 WPT Paris (8th) and final tabling the Master Classics of Poker in Amsterdam 3 times 1999, 2004 and 2006. Plus cashing that event in 2007 and 2011.

I couldn't be more motivated to play my best - I've recently moved house and that has been an extreme drain on my bankroll - I haven't played any big tournaments for a year or so - I even missed my beloved Amsterdam last autumn.

Played 2 live tournaments since and felt like I played really well in both and played my first online Sunday of the year this last weekend - going really deep in the Sunday 500 until losing QQ v AQ for a top 5 stack with about 80 left and ending up about 40th.
For full disclosure I have reserved around 15-20% for some people who regularly buy a piece and hopefully swap a little too. Will be playing for around 50%.
Going to lock in the exchange rate at today's xe mid point of 1.516
So
10% = $1500 or £990
5% = $750 or £495
1% = $150 or £99
Payment preferred by bank transfer or cash in Vegas (I must have the $$$ before I play). Stars money is ok, but the other two methods suit me better.
Any money from endorsements (ha, who'd want to sponsor me?) will not be included in the payouts.
