The $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em World Championship – commonly referred to as the WSOP Main Event, attracted 6,352 players, placing it solidly in the range it has been the last seven years, and among the Top 10 poker tournaments ever held.
The World Series of Poker Main Event continues on now through July 15 at the Rio, and then we pause play for the final nine players and bring them back November 4-5, 2013, where the last nine do battle over $26,662,066.
Yeah I read the schedule wrong, it says 15th July final 9, I thought that was day of the FT, assuming they play down to final 9 that day

Contradicting Tighty is a bloodsport, Boba. Only to be attempted with protective goggles and a briefcase of facts.

Oh and meant to add the hutzpah... its all good spirited tongue in cheek impudence. Nice to see the likes of Cat woman and Negreanu kind of getting it if looking a little confused :-)

Daniel Negreanu
The buzz around Negreanu yesterday was just incredible. I was on the table next to him and he had a rail 30/40 deep ALL day. A constant stream of people watching him, asking for autographs, photos etc. Men, women, young, old - they absolutely love him here.
Never knew that a poker player could have so many fans. He's a pretty great ambassador for the game, perhaps the best. Never realised what a positive impact he must have on the industry but you can see why he's stars #1 pro.

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.
