'Why can't you just put me out of my misery' the reaction from Elia Bassam as he doubles up on table 70. Marius Pospiech raises it up to 42k.

Elia goes over the top and jams 68K all in.

4's for Elia   for Marius. Quads for Elia as the board comes 6 3 4 4 2.

Juan Alban raises to 50,000 and Miguel Lacerda from portugal shoves for a million from the blinds

As you do with A-J with 40 left in a comp like this

Alban calls with Q-Q

J flop

A river to double Lacerda up to second chip leader

With a shrug of the shoulder, a la Cristiano Ronaldo when booked, and an unrepentant look, a la Luis Figo after a penalty box dive, Lacerda goes onward

Alban might have swallowed a wasps nest.

Just watched Rob Yong's interview with Michelle Orpe....a friend of mine, yes herbie I do have a few, texted me saying the ISPT was a failure....I replied an emphatic no!! An expensive project and loss for DTD in  money terms, but it was interesting to hear Rob's views on the overall numbers and delivery of the villae and experience, which I think most people who have attended will all agree has been an undoubted success. And yes Rob had the balls to take this one on.....So without wishing to blow smoke up his arse.....Congrats Rob and DTD as a whole. It looks the final table will contain to big names in poker lets hope a few of the qualifiers snaek in there too....wud be nice if Mickey Wernick got a big pay day after all his troubles!

Dem Aces for Elia Bassam again. He doubles up again.

Andre Moreira is becoming more and more a character.

He shoves on   .  This leaves Damien Bas with a big descision as he asks  'Can I say what I have?' The floor say yes as he is heads up. At this point Moreira turns his phone music to full blast puts his sunglasses on staring at the felt, giving Bas no time to declare his hand.

Bas thinks some more and folds an A face up.

Sam Trickett left his entire 2400 Euro prize as a dealer tip, and got a taxi just now straight to Heathrow, for a first class flight to Vegas

What.a. Life.

heard it was retained by ISPT people for putting him in as opposed to a dealer tip
Sam put in other players to the value of 27k,i don't think he needs the ISPT to buy him in.......but hey you know best !!!!!!

errrm suppose I better reply for clarification purposes. I heard Sam put in other players to the value of 27k which is amazing however irrelevant of that I dont think I ever suggested he NEEDED ISPT to buy him in, Also I certainly don't claim to know best; just saying something someone told me who is there...

anyway move along nothing to see here Smiley
