Just watched Rob Yong's interview with Michelle Orpe....a friend of mine, yes herbie I do have a few, texted me saying the ISPT was a failure....I replied an emphatic no!! An expensive project and loss for DTD in  money terms, but it was interesting to hear Rob's views on the overall numbers and delivery of the villae and experience, which I think most people who have attended will all agree has been an undoubted success. And yes Rob had the balls to take this one on.....So without wishing to blow smoke up his arse.....Congrats Rob and DTD as a whole. It looks the final table will contain to big names in poker lets hope a few of the qualifiers snaek in there too....wud be nice if Mickey Wernick got a big pay day after all his troubles!

Mickey knocked out a while ago Pete, but agree Rob has got balls of steel

Mickey Wernick is out

Jerome Brion raised pre, and Mickey called

Brion flopped a set of fives.

Wernick is calling down the streets and then shoves a flushing/straightening board on the river

Unfazed Brion calls the shove and is good

Wernick mucks

We have 36 left and are breaking to 4 tables

Michael Maruna min raises UTG to 48,000

Farhaz Seyadi calls in the small blind

In the big blind Praz Bansi has Aces

He makes it 110,000

Maruna folds

Seyadi now makes it 220,000

Unorthodox

Bansi and he get it in for 500,000 each, Bansi has 300,000 behind

Seyadi has and rivers a flush to double up through a quizzical Bansi, smiling shyly throughout....

Gwendoline must have a ton of chips now. Any news on who she is / how she got there?

She had AQ v A8 to knock out Albeges

Then JJ v 10-10 all in pre to win another 600,000 and knock a player out

She has 2.2m now

Michael Pospiech and Xavier El fassy get it all in

A-Kdd for Michael in the cut off, Xavier QQ in the small blind

A J-3-4-J-7 board doubles Xavier now who immediately chirps his way through the next five minutes....

I sat beside her yesterday and was impressed. She didn't have a huge amount then. She played fairly tight early but then traded on it, reraising pre several times and getting folds there or on the flop. She showed AA once and, as I say, I think she traded on her image to build. I thought then that she could go far in this. Maybe further still...........

Players are now constantly checking the printed sheets with the payouts on, asking friends on the rail how much they have locked up and are discussing pay jumps. We are now down to 35, who are guaranteed at least €6,000 each. Next pay jump is at 27th to €7950. Then onwards to five figures. Average stack is 1,145,848.

The photograph angle is called art.

Nick Hicks playing 1.2m has a tough seat, raising into chip leader Benardout and Linton playing 2m on the other side of the dealer.

Gwendolen Janot has position on all of them
