With it probably being an ill timed proposal because of all the debate about unjustified markup, I have 18% left on my schedule that I'm playing in Vegas which I would like to open up to blonde. The community has a right to be unwelcoming toward unfair markup in order to protect the integrity of the forum but I think in most cases it's more marginally wrong than unfair. I think my own main event markup is high to be honest at the price of maybe shooting myself in the foot but I've been selling to a live market therefore made a compromise between the price I could sell at to the live market and what price an online market wouldn't raise an eyebrow at. For me it means being able to play more tournaments comfortably increasing my chances of winning and besides, the markup becomes irrelevant providing we bring it all home.

I wasn't sure if I would attempt to sell on blonde as I have only just crossed over the 300 post threshold. I thought I'd wait and see if I naturally make enough posts with enough time to spare. Most people here know me, I've played with most blondes multiple times at DTD or elsewhere therefore feel comfortable that people won't mind me making a proposal as a newly made Sr. member. This will be a big investment on my behalf mainly because of the main event which I've decided to play this year being as things are going well, and I can't guarantee myself that I'll be in Vegas next year or the year after with the chance to do so.

I've been playing MTTs for a while, at times only MTTs although this year I have focussed my attention more on live cash games and the transition has gone very well and it's because of them I'm in a position to go to Vegas for a little over a month this summer.

Not unlocked. Regretfully this account is not in profit

Some non-giant network accounts played whilst backed last year -

There are more accounts I've played on with either little profit or little loss but nothing worth showing.
My profits this year have primarily come from live cash games.

I am flying out on the 15th June and returning on the 17th July. I will be staying in a private home with other players away from all the distraction. Some of my house mates are playing schedules much bigger than mine, so I can reassure the focus on the task at hand.

Selling 50% of a package which consists of the tournaments listed below.

Saturday 22nd June                                                            WSOP #40 $1500
Monday 24th June                                                              Venetian $600
Wednesday 26th June                                                         Venetian $500
Saturday 29th June                                                             WSOP #53 $1500
Sunday 30th June                                                              WSOP #54 $1000 / Aria $1080*
Wednesday 3rd July - Thursday 4th July                                 WSOP #58a/b $2222**

Monday 8th July                                                                 WSOP #62 MAIN EVENT $10,000

Wednesday 10th July                                                           Caesars Palace $1080

*I will pick either the the WSOP #54 event or the tournament at the Aria hotel on Sunday 30th June depending on which I think looks better on the day. If I decide on playing the $1000 WSOP event then the $80 extra the Aria event would have cost will be refunded.

** This tournament is a $1111 buy in, however it is an unlimited re-entry tournament. I will allocate 2 bullets for it as implied by the $2222 and any unused bullets will be refunded.

Any buy ins for tournaments not played will also be refunded.

All tournaments are marked up at 1.2 except the Main Event which is 1.38 creating a total package worth $23,978.

Therefore:-

1% = £155
2% = £310
5% = £775
10% = £1550

Sick house.

Is this your first time in Vegas?

Think your honesty in op is good. Of the market was *fair* what markup would you sell at and how would you choose those numbers?

Will you be playing cash when youre out there too? Team blog would be v v v good to rail.

This will be my 2nd time in Vegas. I went in October 2011 for 1 week. I played 4 tournaments and made ft of 3 of them finishing 3rd, 8th and 9th and won most cash sessions too. I enjoyed that trip a lot but I anticipate going during the summer will be a new experience.

It's pretty hard to talk about markup when there's no suitable formula to work out what it should be. There are too many variables, i.e a person's results to date against their volume and I think their momentum leading up to whatever it is they are playing is pretty relevant too. It can never be totally fair, a person's popularity seems to factor in as well which doesn't really have anything to do with their ability. I think auctions are ok, letting the market itself decide can't be a bad thing.

As for the WSOP, markups are all over the place, packages from stato and rutter look like the best value and there's local people in the casino who haven't even played a 1k comp, yet are charging £100 per 1% of the main event and selling out.

I will be playing cash but only 1/2 possibly 2/5 even though it plays smaller than my regular game. The reason is to take a low variance approach when the tournaments are probably high variance with so many runners and also to sustain morale for the tournaments.

Anyone know how to make images smaller in my post? That graph is one of the least relevant things but takes up half the page.

Just before I have to "rest" this package myself, I'd like to exercise a little promotional incentive just incase there are a few more buys left in the forum.

If I sell 5% more between now and Friday, I would like to offer everyone who has bought through this thread a freeroll in the form of double equity in "the mini one for one drop"
i.e having 1% of the package means having 2% of that tournament, having 5% means having 10% of "the mini one for one drop"
