Jeeeeesus, this game is high-variance sometimes.
Raised AQT6ds behind a limper, flop came AQ7 with two bdfds, I bet and get raised big by the limper who was pretty aggro and bad. I call. Turned a nut flush draw. He jammed, I called, he had top set. Meh. Ran it twice. Hit the nut flush on both.
History: I called a raise completing the action with 2345ds OOP 6-ways. Flop A47, I bet out rather big, EP limp-caller calls. Turn 6, I bet over halfpot, he calls. River 5, I bet tiny, he raises huge, I fold, he shows TT8Kr.
Raised KK32ds from the sb. Same UTG limper repopped for like 10% of his stack. I call. Flop AK5r. I c/c a small bet, turn 2, I check-call all-in and he has top set. I brick. Meh, was never really that good at making big folds. Other people at the same table said they wouldn't have made the fold either so I guess I'm happy with it. Later the guy made a big raise on an unpaired river with 3 clubs on it and a straight flush possible. Other guy showed his nut flush and tank-folded. He only showed the key

.
Got it all-in pre with 3678ds for a 5-way preflop all-in. Against their actual hands I was 33%! As far as I can tell from running sims I'm crushing, looks like between 23 and 25%. Flopped Q65 with 2 bdfds but bricked turn and river against AA, AA, 789J and 78TJ. $14k pot.
Raised AKT6 with nut spades. Flop Q92r, I bet and apparent good player c-cals. Turn 3 giving me bdfd, I check behind. River

giving me nut flush and villain bets $1700 into $2.1k. I tank thinking he would very often check-call the flop with a set, wouldn't be v-betting many worse flushes this sizing if any, and wouldn't be bluffing very often when it's so easy for me to have a flush and I obviously don't have a good made hand when I check back the turn, but end up making the call anyway and he has the 2nf.
Limp-call QT86s multiway. Flop KJ9r, I decide to go for a deep check-raise 4th out of 5 for slinkiness and balance (so I can rep it next time if I have the blockers) expecting the preflop raiser to be betting any of his KKQ/KKTx/JJQx type hands and maybe sometimes bare sets. He has AQJT with two bdfds but somehow it bricks off.
Call a raise with KJT7ss from the blinds. Flop 689hh (no hearts for me). I again decide to go for a c/r rather than lead out which is what I've been doing with tons of my value hands. Not sure it makes a big difference either way but a checker behind me jammed, the better called, obviously I call, it bricks off and I scoop. The big stack behind me who jammed later tells me he had a set and the nut flush draw. Whoop.
And a fair few more sick spots and sick coolers and sick outdraws to leave me down relatively small (~$2k) at the end of that session. Very fun, but incredible variance to this game sometimes. Made one play towards the end that I think was pretty bad - can't remember the exact spot but I barrelled the turn with blockers and a gutshot where I can expect to get jammed on pretty often and he did jam. Had actually decided around 10-11 that I was feeling pretty tired and even though the game was great it would still be here tomorrow but the game got better and I managed to wake up and stayed until the game broke at 3.
Oh, and the night before, I was up ~$3k before the final hand when I made what has to have been the craziest calldown of my life. KK62ds all black on the button straddle (@ the wynn the action passes over the button straddle if no-one raises), two limpers, sb folds, bb pots (I have him on AAxx ~ 90% of the time here), limpers call, I call. Pot is $900. Flop is 8d6h2h, bb leads $540, both limpers call. I'm getting ~ 5-1 which seems a fair price to call to boat up up or hit the

. This is a fairly questionable call ofc but I had the following reasons: bet-sizing, timing tells and the preflop raise told me that the bb has AA+nfd here 95%+ of the time, and he had the biggest stack out of anyone left. First limp-caller I felt was somewhat straightforward and only had $1300 left after his call, so I felt he would be jamming any made hand here. The next caller had shown a tendency to want to get all the money in at any point with any hand so for him to overcall (again with not much money behind, I think around the $1k mark) said to me that he had absolute bupkes as well. Pot is now ~ $3k. Turn is Jo and bb now instapots all-in. First limper calls fairly quickly. Second limper folds. I tank. For fucks sake, my hand is bottom two pair. What am I still doing in this pot? Why do I still have cards in front of me? I should have been gone on the flop! Fold your hand already! But I start thinking and thinking and working this through. What if I'm wrong about bb having AA+nfd and has a hand like AQJ8 with nut hearts? Would he play it the same way? If he turned so strong wouldn't he even consider the possibility of trapping me by having one of the callers jam for him? Can he have AA+fd and two pair? Again, he'd at least consider something different surely. What if he has AA+nfd and a straight draw? Then I just have to fade more outs. What about the first limper? Have I got him bang-on about having a draw? If he has a draw it's likely a wrap and a flush draw. Which could be amazing - they're sharing outs! Could he have called the flop with a hand like 789J with a flush draw? Wouldn't he likely jam those hands on the flop? AAGGGHHH I'M UP $5K AND THINKING OF PISSING $3K OF IT AWAY ON THE VERY LAST HAND I HAVE TO BE RIGHT AND THEN FADE 2/3 OF THE DECK but I didn't come to play this game and not listen to reason and not follow through when I think I've got the best of it so I end up calling after about 5 minutes.
BB has AA98 with nut hearts. Limper has 579T with no hearts (surprising). Fairly big pot so I decide to run it twice. First river is a 2 (bink!) and second is an offsuit T giving me the entire sidepot and half the main.
Wow. I've been churning the hand over in my mind the last 30 hours and I'm still unsure whether it's the best call I've ever made, absolutely horrible or just perhaps a little optimistic. All I know is these guys think I'm crazy.
