Tom Somerville is chip leader with 34 left, and 1.4m

Average 566,000 the the average is how it has been all day 40x bb

I think this could finish much later than the intended aim of midnight to 1am, there are 19.2m chips in play and a 40 minute clock

Could be argued this is deeper and playing better than DTD's higher buy in traditional deepstack

Tom Rutter has 750,000. Just got them in too with a 4 bet shove against Thomas French who called with A-K. Rutter A-K too so they chop

Tommy Bingham has 650,000

Greek Jack 900,000

Somerville now sits to the right of overnight chip leader Suzanne Gilbert who now has 800,000

Pete the Bandit has 900,000

Raj Dhiri just flopped a set of Queens to double to 650,000

Not every day you see a seven way pot in level 17 of a comp...

Suzanne Gilbert raises and sees six callers

All seven check

Anthony Arlott in the small blind bets 55,000 on the turn and Gavin Roberts is the only caller

check check on the river and Arlott beats Roberts three clubs to win the pot

Table 22 is ridiculous

A guy whos 4-bets to 120k and passes to the all-in 214k

A 5-bet A7o through 9-9

Literally more than 50% of pots are 3-bet preflop

A couple of comedy oversized shoves

And all within 40 mins

Making for a pretty interesting dynamic..can't really think of another time I have played on a table like this

this is John Bell, two to Tom Ruter's left and possibly described as "unorthodox" and causing Rutter problems

Nope.. this is Gaz Payne. Unorthodox is correct though - if a little bit of an understatement.

He's one of the 9 players who lost their DTD virginity yesterday (nothing to do with me I swear). Gaz was 19 last week and has perfected the "I'm a pro flick fold" and the dramatic splashing of chips into the pot.

He plays at my local in Southport and was the only one of us to get through to day Two. Blind squirrell theory or skill? Maybe other players on his table can decide.

Peter Evans raises UTG and Tommy Bingham flats on the button

7-3-3 flop

Evans shoves 300,000 into a 100,000 pot

Bingham is playing 600,000 and gives it a long think before folding

Evans shows him a seven (9-7)

Bingham shows him a Queen (A-Q)

and what has been long running banter between the two all afternoon continues
