Entries closed at 8pm with 288 in today
That makes 639 total
28 will return from today and 62 total tomorrow at 2pm, all guaranteed £300
£62,000 prize pool with the winner due to reciever c£14,000 which is very nice for a £100 competition for most.....
currently 222 remain in Level 6 400-800 with average 39,000 still on a whopping an un-updateable 26 tables......

bobalike is out
called a min raise with 9-7hh in the big blind
flop gives him a flush and straight draw which he check calls down and misses leaving him with 15,000
then he makes a late position raise with A-6, two callers
Ace high flop
he cbets 5700 with 8000 behind.
He is shoved on and passes
Next hand with 10x bb left he shoves 44 into 77 and is gone

Greek Jack's attempt to take 3 stacks through to tomorrow has ended when he lost with AQ v 33 on QQ3
Instead he takes a merged stack of 799,000 through to tomorrow
He is the only successful merged stack of the 639 entries

At the end of Level 8 134 of 288 remain
blinds go 1000-2000 average 65,000
Shelly Bedi has 35,000 Dom Smith 45,000
Tom Somerville 85,000
Jamie Moult 80,000
Jason Herbert 65,000
I was called into a meeting, hence the interruption....all go on an updating weekend for me
We are playing down to 28, I reckon 2.30am for the finish
Not sure I can see anyone challenging the Suzanne Gilbert 1m stack from last night, but there is still time

She was out I am afraid. Her table breathed a sigh of relief. Her poker technique appeared to be raise, talk, raise, chuckle, talk again and raise. Not the worst attitude :-)

Karabiner went down from 48,000 to 35,000 in a card dead hour then in a multi way limped pot he completed in the small blind with
10-8hh
8-5-2 two clubs flop
check by Karabiner, bet and call from two of the limpers, Karabiner shoves and is called by A4cc which bricks flush draw, straight draw and over-card to double Karabiner up
He now has 85,000 at the break and has "never had so many chips"
