thats the problem with limit 9/10 hands go to a showdown, i hate limit, not sure about the raise preflop with a 8 utg, ive never played limit but in my opinion here ur gonna get called all the way by  any other player with an ace, then ur counting on ur kicker being good, whereas no limit u could easily get a better ace to lay down, but as i said limit play is not my game

That's pretty much yer problem. You're playing A8o UTG at loose limit table.
The way to play that hand is to fold pre-flop.
I love limit poker, don't play it anymore online because I'm feared of poker bots. Will definately be playing some in Vegas this summer.
