Self deal tournament in a cricket club.

Player A limps, player B raises, super short stacked player C calls all-in, player A calls the raise.

Dealer inexplicably reaches over and tables player A's hand thinking we are at showdown.

What happens next?

So players A and B have put (say for the sake of argument) 5,000 in and player C is all in for 2,000.

A and B still have chips left.

A has had his hand exposed, so he can't bet anymore; all he can do as they play down the streets is check or call. Player B has all options available.

Dealer error on this occasion, so a beverage of player A's choice should be provided without request.

Is the dealer one of the players in the hand?

Disagree with tal.

Player A has all options available to him. Obviously with the disadvantage his opponent knows what he has.

Though I agree that some sort of gesture from the house would be good.

That's well daft. Literally only ever getting called by better hands unless the chap misreads your cards...and starts another ruling thread.

On reflection, I effectively play with my hand face up most of the time anyway. "He's raising. It must be aces"

It's not. Why limit the player's options? He's playing with his hand face up. That's punishment enough!
