25/25 - Bullet 1

Starting table certainly wasn't ideal.  A table where 7 of 10 players were competent / rocks certainly way above the average standard that I would expect for a £200 tournament.  That being said, managed to chip up to 35k pretty quickly and then went a downswing to about 9k where I couldn't seem to rake in a single pot.  Then I was moved to a table which seemed favourable to the previous but by this time I only have around 11bb.

Had some older / really tight players behind me and my busto hand was testament to this.  Shoved the cutoff with K5s (for 9.5bb) and the bb (playing about 50bb) squirmed, pulled some faces, checked his cards a couple of times and then dejectedly threw the call in with AQo!!!!!

Defo going back tomorrow and can hopefully get things moving in the right direction.

Have just found this from the APAT Main:

Interesting hand with Tom Somerville and Chris Webber.

TS opens in early position to 450, CW 3 bets to 1050 on the button. TS then 4bets to 2550, CW 5bets to 4250 and TS 6 bet jams 13k ish.

Chris folds.....guess the hands shown?

Will probably take a couple of bullets at the £300 deepstack sattys if there is a decent amount of overlay.  I would guess that everyone is OK with that?  Shout if not.

Seems eminently reasonable

Plus the £55 satty = £563 used so far.

Might have another shot at the last £55 tonight and then not withstanding that will buy in direct on Friday.
