I was delighted & surprised to get a 'phone call from Thewy this morning.

He heard earlier this week about my heart attack - news travels fast in Notts, it was 11 months ago - & rung to see how I was, under the misconception that it only happened last week, bless him.

He's very happy with life now he has a "proper" job.

He had not played poker for almost a year, so poodled across to DTD once in December, once in January, & once in February, & cashed each time, for about 10 large in total. Still blessed, apparently.

Reuben - his eldest - is 14 now, & taller than Thewy, & has the same size feet - size 83 I think. I can barely believe Reuben is 14, I remember him being born.

Even more amazing - Thewy is 50 now - same age as Ambo & Joe Beevers, & only 6 years behind Camel.

Time flies eh?

I don't think Rich Offliss ever recovered after selling me USD @2/1.

Don't see him much at the O8 tables anymore.   Can't say I have seen him since April, but may have done.  I haven't seen him much in the last year or so.

Noflopshomer works for Pokerstars and lives on the Isle of Man,
Rod and Jen are in a relationship,
Jen is still mad as a box of frogs,

Crikey Tom, how did you find that?

That was back in the days of Wm Hill TV.

Any idea what date it was? Must be around 2005/6.

EDIT - found the date via THM - November 2007, 11 years ago.
