When i asked for a short session i meant that i was only going to be registering for an hour. Stars obviously got the wrong memo!

Been a bit brutalised tonight have had some big stacks and then had coolers and beats galore Sad

Back in the game tonight, not sure when yet probably around 7 ish? Just trying to bash out another 1000 words on my dissertation!

Making real good progress on all my life goals at the minute so feeling 100% better than this time last week, got a shed ton of work done in the last week and drank a shed ton of alchol as well so everything is positive in my life! Time to get this stake sorted now.

perhaps not going to make any friends with this post, but as you are playing with my money, i cant help but thinking the following:

1) stop playing a billion tables at once, i havent backed you to win a volume prop bet, i have backed you to play poker to your best standard and return me some money

2) have a good look at your stats, find out what games you win at, and stick to that game, play what you can actually beat, not what you want to beat

3) dont fall behind on your uni work, if you are struggling to get your degree work in on time then you'll be worrying about that, which will in turn affect your poker playing

4) you arent a pro, we know you arent a pro, and we i dont expect to earn a house from my stake, but i'm sure i'm not the only one who would rather see you play 10 high quality, intelligently played games (which you are capable of) in a week with a small return, rather than you burn through 50% of your staking pool in 3 sessions because you are stuck in prop bet mode.

Hope this doesnt sound too harsh, but i'd rather be blunt and speak my mind than dance around a subject

Mick

Some fair points Mick and although its nice to make friends bottom line is we are here to make money so im happy to take and criticisms on board but i will reply to some points and then leave it open to the floor/other backers to offer advice on the best way forward.

1) This is something that was raised by Ray the other week and since then ive dropped from 20-25 tables down to around the 12-16 region, since we have "moved up" also this naturally reduces the number of tables as the games dont run as often.

2) The two games i win most at are $8 and $3 games. I dont have a large enough sample of $15 games yet but i believe im probably just above BE and there may be an argument therefore to not play these but at the minute im trying to play about 1 in 5/6 of my games of these. The reason for dropping $2.50 is it just is not a viable option for me anymore, im winning just above BE and for the time/effort involved this seems silly especially as im playing MTT's on my own dime bigger than this. The backers/and myself are never going to get in a great return in these games unless i sit there and play 30 tables every night for 8 hours etc etc which currently im just not going to do.

3) completely agree, uni work is number one priority at the minute and will need to keep it that way for the next 6 weeks until im done.

4) Since moving up it kinda poo poo's my pro bet so the mentality behind how and what im playing is not linked to that. BOWLerization is playing $2.50 and $8 games in large volume and therefore will beat me on volume and it will be easier to win on ROI due to him playing lower (you would imagine) so moving up has affected this but my EV in moving up is worth more to me than winning a prop bet. Tonight i will cut tables again and play just $3 and $8 see how it goes in the past ive had a tendency that when i cut tables massively in these i struggle as will try and over play stuff when in these it tends to need to be a bit more robotic but im happy to give 5/10 tables ago for tonight and see how i feel.

Not harsh at all good points well made i just had to explain some of my beliefs as i think you have got the reason for moving up slightly wrong.

The reason is to increase returns (obviously it increases risk) and not to aide in my prob bets etc.

Currently i am the biggest share holder in this and for me i would ideally have even more of my action so i am the last person that wants to be setting fire to this stake which i think is a little different to some people when they get in makeup there is obviously incentive just to move up and get a bink.

Hope my response does not sound to blunt just want to get across my views! Off to the library until like 7 now so happy to hear thoughts on plans before i get back and play tonight.

Cheers

Callum

Less tables at a slightly higher abi is ok with me.

Certainly would not want you to think you have to maintain volume/ play long sessions when you have Uni essays/ revision? etc to consider.

Keep plugging away!

I have no useful input, I would guess following any game selection advice Ray gives you is a good idea.

Picking up on the comment from the reload blurb, you have mentioned that you are rolled for playing bigger MTT games on your own dime and are a major shareholder of this stake.  Is this not a bit of a bind for you? Are you enjoying the 180 mans?

As a stat novice I have no idea how we decide the likelihood of our return on 15$ games, I certainly would not up volume on these.  ABI is looking around $10-$11 and with $1,000 top ups we are going to do the roll in 4 bad sessions.

Also just win and provide more dinner pictures.
