Same tourney as other hand so £200 live and we have chipped up without showdown to 45k from 30k and in the last 45mins Sam Razavi has sat down and been splashing around.

Villain 1 - Fairly tight, mid/late 30s smart in appearance and has played with a cpl of people who play the circuit as I heard in conversation.  30k at start of hand
Villain 2  - Sam Razavi  22500

Blinds 150/300

Villain 1 opens utg2 to 700, Sam peels next to act all fold to us in BB with  and I peel.  Sometimes I feel this is a leak of mine but maybe not as much in this spot?

Flop  (2250)

I chk, villain1 1700, sam calls, I call

Turn    (7350)

I chk, villain1 chks, Sam bets 2700, I call, villain1 folds.    Anyone chk raising here or taking the price?

River     (12750)

Sam has 17400 back.  I check

Like?

I defo don't think its a leak in any way, shape or form to peel this deep and relative positon

I play it the same way and c/eyeball river. Personally not c/ring turn on this board. His turn sizing is kinda small and I don't think he is massively strong, esp with your splashing around comment, though he is probably good enough to know this

I guess you COULD bomb river for a decent amount but I dunno if he would believe you were blasting a missed draw?

Your getting a fair amount of check backs I'd imagine but when you do get paid you could well get stacks. Seems fair.

Just realised he rivered a straight! I don't mind checking, Sam looks really strong and is going to bet all 2 pairs. Problem is he's going to fold to a check jam most of the time because it looks hilariously strong unless OP's image is crazy.

Certainly an argument for betting the river but otherwise I think hand is played good.

Why nut spot? People don't actually bluff all that often with a c/call c/call donk line when the FD misses. And vlikely Eso will have SDV will missed draw anyway given the board so I don't think Sam will see it as a bluff.

Sam doesnt know us right? and with that tache we are gona look like a massive punter  . Also his sizing ott makes his range so 1 pair heavy thats checking back the river a ton imo and how many value hands can we actually have that play like this? I also dont expect him to go round making hero folds in a 200 freeze

Sam may not recognize us with the tache but knows us from a few UKIPT's we played and we have spoken about his brothers so we are not completely unknown

The bigger the bet the more likely it is we get paid. ~5k?

Seems fine to me, might lead for like 4.5k looking for a call of a weaker A, think Sam has A10 here alot, but prolly check a fair amount of the time too.

Yh in this particular spot I have quite a lot of chips so can maybe call not getting exactly the right price knowing we are getting stacks on rivers if we hit so was thinking around 5k

If I really thought about it, I would bet the river and make it look like the missed flush draw. We never get called with a check raise, so we are better off betting more. That would be my logic, anyway.

In Sam's spot, what would you bet/call with?

Will say you've played this hand better than I would have (natch...)
