I can see it from the point of view of the organiser. The stream costs a pretty penny (equipment, manpower, bandwidth) and is the focal point for people to watch from the point of view of the Tour

Anyway, I am yet to find a proper solution to updating finals in print in a live stream world

We've hit the final real time and it is due to start at 7pm real time, which is 7.30pm for you

JP Kelly
Simon Deadman
Chris Vernon

are amongst the final nine, and I reckon it should be a good watch

I might just update it as normal, until I get told not too. Rebel, me

If you don't want to risk spoilers, please don't check the updates after 7pm

Well yes, absolutely. But it just means many of us, who prefer not to have to watch a Live Stream for 10 hours, lose our traditional update. I have things to do, allotment to weed - I may even be playing poker on Genting or DTD! - so I can't stay glued to a stream all day. With a written update, I can pop in & out, & not miss anything.

I still think Genting & DTD are offering us something for nothing, I accept that, so am not complaining, just answering your questions.

Same here, not interested in watching the stream.

I like your updates and it's a shame that you are being constrained.
