Alan Mansbridge 50,000 on the button first hand back at 12-24k

Ronaldo all in 550,000 big blind

Mansbridge, GUKPT Walsall winner and GUKPT London runner up makes what I consider to be a fantastic call for about 40% of his stack, playing the player

with

Ronaldo  three diamonds

two spades

As the river falls Ronaldo stands, and fist pumps with his left hand letting out "choo choo" noises as if at home reposing in front of his Thomas the Tank Engine DVDs

The rest of the table sigh/tut/shakes it head/mumbles itself to oblivion

We all need a little luck...

Danny Blair and Ronaldo.... Come on...

Barny Boatman raises UTG

John Haigh calls on the button

Boatman bets the flop and turn and is called

Boatman checks the river

With 290,000 in the middle Haigh bets 105,000

Boatman thinks

After a while

"do you have pocket sixes sir? Is that what you have?"

Haigh stares ahead

Barny smiles a resigned smile, and calls

Haigh shows

Barny's smile gets wider

Marcel Luske to Barny, laughing "you say what he has, you know what he has and yet you still call"

Barny to Luske "I flopped a set, its just horrible"!

Ronaldo raises

No doubt figuring he was ahead, Chris Dowling 3 bet jammed 6-8 and Ronaldo called

With A-Q

The biter is bit as Dowling hits a straight to double to over 500,000

Since when he has won more uncontested pots and is now over 700,000
