Sky Poker UKPC 6-Max @ DTD is on telly tonight.

Any reason why there are no day 1's for the £250 mini this weekend online?  There are usually 2 online day 1's weds and thurs for standard monthly deepstacks.  Given its 6max i thought it would be more likely to have 2 day 1s online to save dealer exs.  However it appears there are none.  Don't really want to travel to the club for the day 1 if possible as well as day 2 on sunday then most of next week as well for the main festival.  

Any chance of day 1's being set up online given i have just got a text about how busy saturday will be at the club seems crazy to not have 2 online day 1's surely during the week like normal?

Couldn't agree more, was going to make the same post. I had made a note a while ago that the Online Day 1 was Wednesday night, I think it was showing on this page http://www.dusktilldawncasinonottingham.com/news/the-sky-6-max-ukpc/2424#schedule, but it's been removed.

I guess Sky didn't want there to be an online day 1 on DTD for a Sky affiliated tournament? If so understandable I guess but slightly disappointing for players who like to play an online day 1 and only travel for the day 2.

It was def showing for wednesday only on the dtd front page a day or so ago.  I wondered why there was only one day 1 then but was happy to play it anyway.  Now, like you say, it's just totally disappeared.  Very disappointing as ex's are going to be big enough over the next 10 days without having to travel to notts twice when we could easily play the day 1 online for this mini 250 which is effectively just the monthly £150k deepstack which usually has 2 online day 1's as standard.  Given the text received about dealer/space pressure at the club it seems crazy.  I am just assuming it's an error and the day 1's online are still occurring.

Thanks for the prompt reply! That does make sense. Wouldn't imagine Stars would be too happy if DTD offered an online Day 1 on ipoker for one of their events.

am guessing Saturday will be busiest

If I play  - possible - I'll play Thursday or Friday.

i might be missing something, but isn't that what is meant to happen...qualifiers from the penny roll get to play the next step up on the same night if they wish?

They run literally every 30 mins all afternoon and evening, they feed in to one evening sat so inevitably there will be one feeder out of dozens a day that doesn't quite finish and the top four chip stacks go through in that particular sat
A warning comes on screen to tell you the game will end and again on the last hand

Pretty sure it only happens in one sat per day - no problem as far as I see (unless you don't realise and sit 5th with four through and fold the last hand effectively eliminating yourself)
