just seems like some of the people in this thread put more time and effort into criticizing whoever has written it, and not their answers to the RSQ themselves. shame they dont put as much thought into the answers, they might do alright. having a go at people who are trying to write their first rsq and tearing it apart is only going to persuade them not to participate in the future.
if every rsq was exactly the same then no one would do it. good to have some variation and some slightly harder questions that appeal to people who are knowledgeable and well read in a number of subjects is good in my opinion.
just submit your answers, slag of rexas, call tomsom a penis and object in the reveal, its easy
deal with it (appropiriate GIF please tomshite)
nah you were just awful

I didn't really see myself as 'having a go' or tearing apart' anyones quizzes, I was trying to go for constructive feedback, as Willrobrobu invited in his OP, but I to tend to be flippant sometimes so I apologise if either of you thought I was belittling your efforts.
I do take issue with your 'put more thought in' comment though.
If you genuinely do not know something and you aren't allowed to research it, no amount of thinking about it will suddenly provide you with an answer, much less an obscure one.
As for 'appeal to people who are knowledgable and well read', Isn't that a little elitist?
This attitude in my IMHO will put more people off entering R.S.Q's than the obligatory bitchy comments.
Plus, I'm knowledgable about Shellac nail polish spring/summer collection, and well read on the life of Margaret Beaufort, but those are some of my personal interests, and I don't expect anyone else to know about them.
It may just be that the R.S.Q. has evolved into something more like Mastermind than its original format and if that's how the winners and subsequent QMs like it and people enjoy it then oh well, like many other things in life it has left me behind. Survival of the fittest and all that.
P.S.
Rest assured, my bosom remained entirely tranquil during the duration of this post.
P.P.S.
Sorry about the derail Willrobrobu, but remember no publicity is bad publicity!

Not quite sure what's got into chris since winning an RSQ. You've changed man. I suppose with great (rsq) power comes great responsibility, and he just couldn't deal with it. Power corrupts and all that.

You are doing just fine mate, ignore the jibes (I'm sure you do anyway) it's all in good spirit, except from the occasional uptheirownarse serious types who you can safely ignore.
Each to their own is just fine.
