Now dont shoot me for this...particularly as i`m not playing tonight.
Have read the posts here and am impressed by the unassuming work being done for good causes.

a thought.

when having blonde tourneys as of this evening there is 20 but no rake....might it be an idea to have the tournament as 20 + 2 where the 2 goes to the charity.
Only saying this as i presume there will be more tourneys as the popularity of this one seems to be .

or in addition or alternatively a slight shaving of the price money across the board to go to charity..as this is a community board by decent people.
it may not seem much but it would be something especially as it would get lost in the mix and not be noticed in a game
just flinging this out there for comment or to be shot at

whoops - just went back to the original idea and noticed that charity had been raised as an issue and it was left as would be dealt with in the future...apologies

P4C has its own charity events
as a disabled person i know how many chairties are out there all asking for money

so not everyone can donate all the time

therefore i dont think that we should shove P4C down everyones throats

therefore i dont think blonde events should have a manditory % off the top for P4C

but people are welcome to donate if they please

I think this was discussed at the outset but, I think the train of thought is that "IF" people want to donate, they will. I agree with this policy, not to force people to donate. People are here to play and discuss poker. If they choose to do extra, great stuff, if not, no problem.

The Neteller ID you need to transfer to is: 451723708878

I am not overly familiar with neteller so if you need further info just ask.

Could you please also email postal addresses (or PM them) as I will need to issue reciepts.

Thanks everyone!!!

Are yo ua merchant or as a member to member transfer?
If it is a member, you need the email address, if it is a merchant, you need numbers but the one given is not recognised.
Please advise.

Have mailed you Simon but you beat me to it.  Grin It is a member to member transfer (cost avoidance strategy) and the email is payments@poker4charity.org.

Thanks for your patience.

Good post Patman, thank you. The replies by Ironside & jbsc7769 coincide exactly with our policy.

But the thought is very much appreciated.

Right, if it was ever in doubt I am officially a prat.

Seems I neglected to upgrade the neteller account and so we cannot take neteller payments for another few days (up to 5 working days, whatever they are).

If anyone is desperate to pay sooner here are the options:

Paypal via the site www.poker4charity.org

Cheque/PO/Cash - Made payable to Poker4Charity (except the cash)
17 Kielder Way
Gosforth
Newcastle-upon-Tyne
NE3 2LP

Or

By bank transfer or visiting your local branch of RBS

Account: Game For Life
Branch: Bedford
Account No:  10096601
Sort Code: 16-13-07

Hope this helps. I would like to personally thank everyone for their support today.
