76 players played the £20 rebuy Fast and Furious tonight creating a prizepool of £6400, same again next week and as winter approaches we will try to introduce more variety into the club evening schedule over the coming weeks and months, thanks for your support. We ran the XXL 15 turbo as well for those players that didn't like idea of a re-buy / wanted an earlier finish and 46 players played that:) 120+ poker players on a cold Nottingham Tuesday night is about as much as we could ever expect : cheers again 4 support - Aces
What are the chances of getting back to the old good structure deep stack tournament, where we used to get 500 BB starting stack. Today we start with 50,000 chips but it is only 200 BB to start with. In the grand prix we had 180 people left and the average was 15 Big Blind.

Not sure how long you played in DTD, but in DTD we used to have 30,000 stack with 25-50 blind for any bigger tourney. ie. 600 BB. Today we get 50000, but start at 100 -200. So we start at 250 BB. Its only my view, I love deep stack.

That's for one or two levels though.  The new structure massively increases action early in the mtt because of forced antes from level 1 and keeps the average stack much higher bb wise for later in the mtt so its more deepstacked when it really matters.  The current 250 bb stack with antes from level 1 is the best possible structure you can play imo.

Hi guys

We have never done 500 BB. Our formats went from :

10,000 chips start at 25-50

15,000 chips start at 25-50

20,000 chips start at 50-100

30,000 chips start at 50-100

To the current format;

50,000 chips start at 100-200 25 ante

The last option gives the highest BB average per level which our computer system tracks - it's conclusive this is the best structure we have every tried.

However, the Grand Prix's always plays 'tight'' because it's such big money/golden chip prizes at stake V the buy-ins and so many seats won for small investments in pennyrolls and feeders. If we have 500BB or 40-60 min clock - I am sure many players would not join until the later levels and it could not be finished in 2 days with 2000 entries. I think making the Grand Prix a 3 day event with deeper stacks/early levels/longer clock would not be in the 'spirit' of this particular tournament as it's aimed at the majority of players that have jobs/families/etc to find time for.

Cheers Aces

I have one of those £125 token but can't make it for a couple of weeks at least......what can I use it for, never been lucky enough to win one.

Sure I read somewhere you can use it on the cash tables, or did I dream that one?

Cash game weekends, yes but not sure if any are currently planned

Most of November is the WPT festival, so  will need Glenn to let you know which events tokens are currently valid for

You can check expiry dates via mypoker in your dtd/ipoker lobby
