Planning to play the mini live on Friday.  DTD's home page shows two flights one at 3.00pm and one at 7.00pm however when clicking through the pokerfest mini banner and looking at the schedule there is only one flight at 7.00pm.  Please could someone confirm which is correct.

thanks in advance

Schedule looks great. Just a shame a lot of the sides are 300- wouldve thought they'd be more supported in the 100-200 bracket? Ladies, seniors, omaha etc

Pokerfest Live kicks off with a massive tournament for recreational players

partypoker and Dusk Till Dawn’s brand new Pokerfest Live festival kicks off this week in style, with the huge £150,000 Guaranteed, £60 + £10 Buy-In Pokerfest Mini, which takes place this week with Online Day 1s.  The first Live Day 1s start at 3pm on Friday 28th August 2015 at Dusk Till Dawn Casino in Nottingham, UK.

With a massive field of over 2500 players expected to turn out, this could be one of the largest live tournaments in UK poker history, and Dusk Till Dawn’s Rob Yong is clearly excited about the prospect.

“We’ve seen a clear desire to provide large field, low buy in events for recreational players in the UK, and we love hosting them at DTD.  Seeing a club packed with people for a weekend’s poker tournaments where they are clearly having fun is a great sight”

The full Pokerfest Live schedule can be found here, but in summary the festival starts with the £150k Guaranteed Pokerfest Mini (Day 1s running from now until Sunday 30th August), includes a 6-Max, Seniors (50+), PLO Double Chance, Ladies Event and a High Roller.  And of course the flagship £300,000 Guaranteed Pokerfest Live Main Event with Day 1s starting on Sunday 30th August and running to Saturday 5th September.

The whole festival includes £670,000 in Guarantees, and all events use the Dusk Till Dawn “Deepstack” structure, which is renowned as being just about the best in the business.

Online satellites are running daily on partypoker and any players holding $109 DTD Tickets can use them to play the Pokerfest Mini.

“Our partnership with partypoker enables us to do exciting things, such as bring what was an online poker series to the live UK poker market, we are thrilled to be able to host such an event, and look forward to doing many more in the future” Rob Yong added.

Pokerfest Live Mini:

If you played the Online Day 1's last night the chances are I unfortunately won't be able to get a confirmation email to you before 3pm but here's how it all works.

- If you were still in when the blinds went to 1/2 at Level 17, well done you made it through! You will be bringing forward whatever you finished level 16 with. Day 2 starts at 3pm, but if you could be 15 minutes early that would be great.

- If you aren't happy with your stack, you can play this morning's Turbo to try and beat it! You will take the highest stack of the two through.

If you have a $109 ticket and want to play the turbo, Cashdesk and I have plenty of iPads in the club for regging into holding tanks.

Players may also use tickets for the £20,000 GTD Mini Second Chance that get's underway today.
