I'm quite surprised at the amount of votes ukip are getting and are predicted to get in the polls.   Not just a few hundred but massive numbers and taking  second or third spot in some areas

According to the spreads, Labour + SNP > Tories.

If the Liberal Democrats support the left alliance, Miliband is PM.

Surely if the Tories have the most seats they're given first option at forming a government?

Oh the irony.

The Tories squeeze Labour's vote in middle England by warning that the SNP will hold the government to ransom.

The DUP is already working out its demands for propping up a lame duck Tory government.

Yes they will.

But if they have less than 300 seats, even with Ulster Unionist support they won't get a QS through parliament.

Would be surprised if the Lib Dems backed the Tories if they lose as many seats as predicted.

Then Miliband gets a chance to deliver a Queens Speech.

Lib Dems may not have a choice but to back the Tories if they're asked.

Nottingham south, the constituency I live in was 1/20 fav for labour when I checked yesterday. The exit poll has the Tories taking it.

There are some weird swing regionally if the exit poll is correct.

Why?

They have been decimated by being part of a coalition. They have no loyalty to party who has basically rumped them.

You are woefully optimistic Keith. Con minority gov very possible on 310+ with vote by vote support from others.

The last one out would definitely have to turn the lights off if that happened.  This is a damning rejection of the labour party and their ability to run the most important thing in this country which pays for everything, the economy.  I will personally leave the country if Red ed is the next PM if they get less than 240 seats.
