15th April 2013

£0.50/£1 Gala Casino, Nottingham.

4 folds, Stato raises HJ £4, Alex 3bets CO £15, Sean 4bets BTN £45, 2 folds, Stato folds, Alex 5bets CO £120, Sean 6bet allin £500, Alex calls.

Flop: (£1006)

Turn: (£1006) two hearts

River: (£1006)

Alex shows , One pair of Queens
Sean shows , Flush, Ten high

Alex mucks, Sean wins pot £1006.

Love this hand! Belton is the best.  Also, it's really hard to win with a Queen and a Queen
Think that's his point should still be getting it in with like 11% equity and getting there.

This. Now I have to make way for the youth and their 6 gappers. Sad

Focusing on positivity - congrats on the job. Unless you're very very very good on all fronts i just don't think poker is an enviable profession at all anymore. Hopefully this is a blessing in disguise. Albeit an immediately expensive one that will tilt you in the short term for sure, but putting you in a far better position in the long game.
