I like a few at longer odds this weekend :
Ipswich v Leeds
Everyone know Ipswich have been on a great run but Leeds are also much improved under Redfearn, it sounds like they have 2 or 3 very good players coming through. It was interesting to hear reports that Leeds had bossed the midfield against Derby.
In the Championship, anyone can beat anyone, I like Leeds at their price. I'm on at 18/5.
Exeter v Burton
Whilst the Burton lost at Shrewsbury last weekend, I think the comments from Dungbeetle are still valid. Hasselbank having an effect. I'm on Burton at 7/4 (Boyles have 15/8 if you can get on).
Reading v Bolton
Reading are very inconsistent and it looks like the players and manager are under a bit of pressure. Bolton have been producing under Lennon and it was interesting to hear Lennon say after the Huddersfield game that they look stronger and better, the longer the game went on.
I know Reading won away at Norwich last weekend but they also lost at home to Charlton the week before.
I'm on Bolton at 11/4.
Accrington v Yeovil
I was surprised to see Accrington were 11/5 for this game.
Whilst Yeovil are in L1 and Accrngton in L2, Yeovil are in the relegation zone and Accrington have a very consistent home record.
I think 11/5 is too big so I'm on.
Only on all these as singles, betting at longer odds, with more contrary views on football can make you look foolish or smart, hopefully at least a couple of these will come in!!

Birmingham definitely better under Rowett, I just thought price was about right personally.

Sky Bet are doing a good refund for the Soton match if BTS, surely very likely? Only on selected markets, and up to £25.

Quick question please
Backed the draw last night Benfica v Leverkusen.... 21/10 on the coupon. (of course price may change a bit)
Paid out this morning at 21/20 !??
Bet placed at 2.55pm at a William Hill shop.
They are saying this is right odds at the time?!
Any way of checking this?....was there a massive plunge on the draw yesterday ??

Ok after several phone calls/tweets ,they finally admit the computer print out was wrong!.....I have left the manager to manual work out the bet on his calculator!, and will pick up the difference later.

On these for today :
Exeter v Carlisle
I'm on Exeter at 5/4, I'm convinced Curle will struggle now at Carlisle, last week's loss at home to Newport reinforced my view. They have also been poor away from home and face a long trip.
Orient v Peterborough
Chompy telling us Peterborough are poor is good enough for me with Orient at 9/5 I'm on them.
Oxford v Bury
I got on Bury at 19/10 yesterday. Bury have had a few poor results but I think they will be a top 4 side come April/May. I think its value against an inconsistent Oxford.

BetTheVictor are offering free bets back on Correct Score, First/Last/Anytime Goalscorer, Half-Time/Full-Time, Scorecast
if there is a red card in the United v Liverpool match
, up to £10. Lots of attacking players out there and some dodgy defensive players mean that there could be some desperate defending/fouls going on...

I guess that the unusual nature and history of this game messes with the odds, but 10/11 (BMU) United to beat Liverpool looks tempting to my untrained and unbiased eyes.

Nice start to the weekend with Bolton winning, I got on these yesterday :
Huddersfield v Birmingham
I've backed Birmingham at 5/2. Rowett having a positive effect and they will be full of confidence after a big win last weekend.
Stevenage v Exeter
Exeter are a form side and had some impressive away results recently and Stevenage have been hit by illness in their squad. Paul Tisdale sounds quietly confident taking about the rhythm and improvement in their play.
On Exeter at 17/10.
Yeovil v Colchester
Not the most imaginative bet but I like Yeovil at 21/20.
Seems like after a very poor start Gary Johnson has started to turn them around in last few games, big win in FA Cup this week and a cracking 4-0 away win at Oldham previously. Colchester seem to be in a downward spiral whereas the momentum and confidence is with Yeovil.
Tempted to back Wigan at home to Rotherham too at 20/21. Surprised they haven't picked up with Mackay in charge, with their squad it feels like they are in a false position, Rotherham at home seems an ideal chance to get a run started.

Got on a few yesterday.
Oldham v Donny
I know its clear that Oldham are on a bad run and I'm sure this week hasn't helped them, but Donny are on a roll currently beating Swindon and Coventry, drawing away with Peterborough and Bristol City.
I backed Donny at 23/10.
Forest v Wednesday
Couldn't resist the 11/4 on Wednesday here. We are tight defensively and whilst we don't score many, Forest have no confidence, 11/4 is too big.
Birmingham v Wigan
Rowett seems to be working wonders at Birmingham, Wigan still stuttering, I'm on Brum at 8/5.
Huddersfield v Watford
I like Watford at 13/8, Huddersfield lost 2 out of last 3 at home and for me Watford are a very good team.

What's happens to this? Clearly bookies don't anytime correct score wincast but he's put first score price I guess.
Not mine. Mate is asking. I said money back most likely. Anyone think he could push for more?
