A tie

there is a tiebreaker

Nakor isn't online for this so Answers by midday tomorrow by PM from Adam and Dan

there is no obligation to set a quiz if you win, so you might as well try and win

For pride, for honour and for glory.......

give me a year and the artist

"Tiebreaker

"Why do you have to be a heartbreaker?
Is it a lesson that I never knew?
Gotta get out of the spell that I'm under
My love for you"

Great quiz, need to work on my years a little as it seems I'm older than I think I am!

More of the same from the winner please, I imagine both Boshi and Nakor will set a good one.

Just glad I didn't come bottom.

Bit cringe that I thought the singer of torn sang it when she was 7 Smiley

Enjoyed it very much. Thanks Tighty.

Was doing fine through the first half, poor effort on the Green Day one to be almost 10 years out and it went downhill from there.

Very good quiz, should have music ones more often imo

In before maybe we would if people actually entered Smiley

Pretty disappointed with myself that I had One Direction and the correct year but missed Night Boat To Cairo, we had 'The Best Ska Album In The World Ever' on repeat in the common room in 6th form

Lol at these compilations! It's not even in the top ten Madness songs!

Enjoyable quiz, Mr End, as ever. Deacon Blue indeed... Roll Eyes

I beg to differ, it is "The" Madness song.  Genrally the opener live, nothing like seeing loads of 40+ year old men run out of steam by the second verse.

Thanks fella, a lucky guess. Thought it was somewhere between 75 and 85 - so went for the middle spot.

Will do a music-related quiz over the weekend. Got an idea that might work well...

(Oh, and One Step Beyond is surely the Madness song, even if they didn't write it?)

Well, I least I didn't finish up last.  Smiley
Gutted about the Eddie grant and Bob Marley questions though.

Very well done Kinboshi, and thanks Tighty for what was surely the hardest quiz ever!
