I was going to say Kennington Oval but that's not a football ground now.
Did it used to not be a football ground and now is a football ground? Coz it certainly doesn't look like a football ground! So the Racecourse Ground in Wrexham? But that's not south of Watford?

still a football ground. much changed from then, but still a football ground

Wembley?

Fantastic views over the city, still overgrown with weeds and neglected I assume.

Iconic photos from 92 though.

I didn't go inside.  I was eating next door and noticed people swimming on the way back up the stairs.  It didn't look neglected but i could only see through the gaps.   They open it to the public in July and August for swims and picnics.

For those that haven't got it, it is famous as the set of the Kylie video for "Slow".

Egypt

1986 world cup warm up

we had morocco in the group and wanted to play a north african opponent for a look at the style etc

we lulled them into a false sense of security by giving them a charles and di gift and beat them 4-0
