£300 DTD Deepstack @ spot.

Hi guys,

I'll be playing day 1b of the £100k guaranteed deepstack this friday, and will fire up to 2 bullets. If the 2nd bullet isn't needed then refunds will be dished out. Also if I'm lucky enough to bink a ukipt seat then any % will be carried forward.

Why should you invest? I focus on MTT's and, whilst I'm not claiming to be an extraordinary player, I am a profitable live player. There is a lot of value this weekend with a lot of players coming through the freerolls and other satellites on partypoker. I believe my game has improved over the past 12 months, and approach the game with a more mature attitude now. Plus it's only a few quid for some of you ballers, so back me as your lanky, big eared pony this weekend.



I'm selling up to 40% with 20% already sold to previous investors, so 20% left @ 1.00, so 20% = £120   10%= £60    2.5%= £15

That's just standard, abc poker. I'm looking to cold call a 5 bet in the small blind pre flop with 9 3 off. That's the sort of play that separates the men from the boys.

An excellent start to day 1 sees me stuck in traffic just on the outskirts of Nottingham. Should be there before level 2 begins.

Just folded what ended up being quads. Solid

On the first break now after 3 levels and it's been a nice start. First 2 and a half levels were standard, gaining a few chips. A couple of key hands which went my way:

I raise in mid position with 8 10 of clubs to 1200 @ 200/400/50, the blinds calls.

Flop: 25K two clubs. Bet 2500, small blind calls and the big folds.

Turn: 5x. Bet 4000, called by the sb.

River: 9 of clubs. Bet 7500 for value and called. Up to about 72k.


A few hands later early position raised to 1200,  2 callers infront of me so I call late position with J10, and 1 caller behind.

Flop: 998 rainbow. Early position bets 2500, all fold, I peel.

Turn: 10. Check check.

River: Ace. Check check. My 10 beats his 8.


Up to 80k through 3 levels

Frustrating few levels, on about 65k on the 2nd break, going into 600/1200/200. Been fairly card dead but I'll post a few hands:

400/800/100

There was a raise mid position to 2000 call, flat K10 off.

Flop: 10 10 3. Raiser bets 2k, another player calls, I call.
Turn: 4. Check check check
River: 7. Initial raiser bets 3, raised to 7 by other player, I re raise to 16k and there's 1 caller, I take.


Hand 2:

Utg I find KQ clubs and raise to 2100. 2 callers. Flop 10 9 2, 2 spades 1 club. Bet 3700. Sb shoves for 4k more. Call and shows 10 8. Holds.

Hand 3: not keen on how I played this, any comments appreciated:

500/1k/100.

Utg raises to 2500, 2 callers. I find 10s in the big. Just call.

Flop: 356ddx checks round.
Turn: 2x. I Lead for 5k, button calls.

River 5. I bet 7, button raises to 17. Sigh call, he flips quads.


Was up to 100k at one point, sitting just below average now.

The re entry period has ended so if I don't make day 2 I'll either play tomorrow or the turbo on Sunday.
