Yesterday I lost a 13k euro pot in a live game of which 4.5k was my money. the main pot was 10k and the side pot was 3k. I accidentally mucked my hand when the guy who had won the main pot showed. I didn't realise he wasn't able to win the side pot also. I immediately quit the game and took the rest of the day off and didn't stop thinking about it all day long. I was really tilted by it - I've never made a mistake like that before.

Who won the side pot then? If he wasn't able to win it before you mucked I presume because all his money was covered in the main pot, then what happened to it, what was the ruling?

I assume the guy in the side pot. Cos mucked before seeing his hand and he showed and takes it. I assume he showed worse than Cos, otherwise it would be less gut wrenching.

Falling asleep when 1/16 in an online comp probably my worst mistake. Used to play in bed sometimes. Never again! Was £3k up top, finished 6th or 7th with blinding, was heavily stacked. Woke up and went nooooooooooo! I should state this was pre staking!

Almost cost me but didn't and its on a live stream somewhere but 3 handed in Deepstack button shoves I peek down at a queen and what I thought was the top of another queen and rejam. I feel ill when I actually turn over Q9. Luckily I'm up against JT and hold.

Done the same when in a side pot situation but was only for about £50.

Folded chops a couple of times when i had A or K high on raggy boards multi way and it woulda been good somehow.

It's not a mistake I've made, but I did once snap roll over 22 on a double paired board, announced 2 high, and the two gentlemen with Ipads and headphones in mucked.

Deep in a tourny Seat 2 raises seat 5 3 bets.. i look down at Aces.. 4 bet half my stack trying not to smile.... check my cards.. look up to see seat 2 muck swiftly followed by seat 5... throw my cards in dealer mucks them.. and shifts the pot to the BB Edna in Seat 1 who had moved allin as quite as a mouse... I think i actually felt physically sick...

early stages of a self dealt tourney in salford back when i was at uni, i put someone all in on the river and they called my bluff. it was some terrible bluff from me so i instantly mucked my crap cards and slid my chips into the middle. i had about 30k they had about 15k but this didn't dawn on me until i'd walked away from the table and i was too embarrassed to go back so just went home lol.

This reminded me of a story a fellow blonde who no longer posts here told me. He was self-dealing a tourney in Manchester and there was an all in and a call from two other players. Cards were tabled and the hand played out. It was only preflop next hand when he went to raise that he realised when pushing the pot to the winner of the previous hand, he'd accidentally pushed the pot and his own chips to the winner!

Told the story before on here a few times, mucked the winning hand of a 7k pot in Vegas. Can still see those cards spinning through the air in slow motion and hitting the muck whilst realising I'd actually won the hand to this very day

You know when you see a chip and you "know" its yours but you don't want to reach out and take it because its near seat X and close to his phone or stack or w.e and you say "Hey is that my £5er...?" to the guy pointing less than an inch away from the chip because you could actually just pick it up but you don't want to be rude.

I did that next to a miserable elderly git once and he snapped my hand off. It was on his stack before I'd even finished the inflection meaning I was asking a question. Bastard.

Sorry Adam, but see a weasel sleeping and all that, I could not resist. How else am I ever gonna win against you?
