Logged on today and had more in available balance then I expected.

Looked in Activity/All Tranactions and I have a Transfer from Fixed odds and a bet receipt number.

If I look in Activity/Arcade Games only the credit also appears in that list as do a number of debit and credits over the last 14 days.
I have never used the Betfair Arcade.

None of the other Activity lists (my bets etc) show corresponding dates and amounts to these "Arcade" transactions.
Is there anywhere I can type in the receipt number or reference ID and find out what it was for?

Have a look at https://myaccount.betfair.com/accountdetails/mysecurity?showAPI=1 - it will show IP addresses of logins to your account.  If they seem odd you might have been hacked.

I'd go further and just ring Betfair straight away.  If somebody is playing arcade on your account, they won't last long.   You logged in from another PC recently?  I'd imagine a fraudster would be fairly quick at emptying your account and wouldn't be just messing with it.

IP trace seems in order - but I do sometimes use shared hardware at work so it could be local to me I guess.
Have called Betfair and the issue is being looked at.
Thanks for the advice/links etc.

Not so long ago someone hacked my Betfair account and bet £25 a spin in the casino until it was emptied. Phone support said it was someone based in the UK but they still refunded me as they can see when and where I (frequently) logged on, and how. The fact I've never used the Betfair casino probably helped me case, and they didn't really 'lose' any money in my case. No idea why the idiot didn't syphon it off to another account, Blatch style.

If you use the same username and password for any other accounts change them asap

I have one of these. Not done any bets on betfair recently but did do a bet on the sportsbook on Robin in that bird contest. This is the only transaction/settled bet I have so I am assuming it is that atm

For anyone that keeps a reasonable balance in a Betfair can I strongly recommend two step authentication. It's no trouble at all as you can set it only if you ( or anyone else ) login from an unrecognised device.

I don't think there is an easy way to look up a transfer reference from Sportsbook. I get v frustrated when an old SB bet gets settled and you can't remember which one it was, hence I had to contact them to discover the robin bet had been paid.

Pretty daft if there is no way of checking that I am unaware of.

If using the app go to my bets and then options at the top and it gives u the chance to change the dates or search for a few months, u can then toggle between current and past.

Understood, but you need to know the date you put it on to see it. So, like the Robin bet, it was put on a while back so the date range encapsulates a large range to trawl through, why they cant just note the horse/bet I really dont know.

Good work on the Lens bet btw mate, TY.

I had one from Turkey in the early hours of the 9th May, then one from Mexico a few hours later.
