What’s the point of such a public comment though? Rather weird really.

Even if he thinks it, it’s just plain daft to make the comment and doesn’t help anyone.

Anyway, let's be honest he is trying to get his own back at Farage for all the shit he has fired at him before.

It may also be a reference to TM, who if she did just bowl into Brussels and say'we want to leave, how can you help us, probably deserves such a fate for being so utterly useless, naive and stupid.
